Nice, good dirt is expensive. I have a place out here called Soilutions that would fill my truck bed for $35 with top grade soil that they composted. After almost 9 years the only thing I amend that soil with is a few bags of wormshit and maybe some mushroom compost. Wow that is a great price. The place I have been going is $45 for top soil that is 25% compost and $57.00 for Mature Humus Compost. That is for pickup. They charge $20 for delivery if I get more than 5 yards.

Here's the thing. I have four kids and while 3/4 of them are actually brilliant in school, they're all idiots. I could buy a safe/gun lockup, whatever. One of them is so stupidly smart that he could break into it, easily. So it's a matter of hiding it. But then we run into the "where is my birthday/Christmas/Easter present" and they always fucking find them. Yes, want to protect the family for the impending shit that will eventually come, but I have no doubt that the smartest one will find it and play William Tell with a friend. Am I a bad parent? If you had a gun you could threaten to shoot them if they look for it or their presents Yeah. "Hey Charlie, did you hear me rack the Mossberg? Do your fucking homework." That'll sit well with the wifne.

When you grow a nutsack you could still buy this. Here's the thing. I have four kids and while 3/4 of them are actually brilliant in school, they're all idiots. I cannot disagree with the sentiment. I had the Mossberg pre-kids. once my Daughtne starting walking, I gave it to my FIL. I took it back once the Sopne flew the nest, 20 years later, and went on a buying spree the wifne is still not happy about.

The older boy (12) is smart beyond a doubt, has a memory better than mine, which is impressive (wifne is the smart one, I'm just the one who knows everything - you want to be on my team at pub quiz night) and I doubt he'd actually play William Tell with a friend, but he's curious about everything and I can guarantee he'd go looking if he found out I'd bought a shotgun to show it off. He's also a fantastic lacrosse goalie.

I understand your apprehension but millions of people have both guns and kids. It would also be a good time to speak to them about gun safety and what to do if they're at a friends house and one of them brings out a firearm.

Gonna have the talk with the wifne first to see if she's on board and then will talk with the kiddos.

I had the pleasure of shooting this for the first time today. Beautiful gun chambered in 45-70 with a strange kick that I could shoot all day if the rounds weren't over $2 a piece.

I figured I'd start one considering we have several dipshits, aka "us," who carry and talk about their caches. From someone who has only fired a handgun once and has fired shotguns and rifles several times, where would one start in the process to arm themselves? I have easy access to a police firing range that does not allow anything other than handguns. If I were to purchase a shotgun or a rifle, where could I go to squeeze off a few rounds? I'm on Long Island and am not looking for a CCL, just home protection. For what is eventually coming. I would also recommend you look into self-defense laws in NY state as well as your county. We have a duty to retreat NY but it is not absolute. Which means grey area. Which means Soros DAs getting creative to protect criminals. codywarnercriminaldefense.com/can-you-stand-your-ground-in-new-york/It's gray no matter what. We have "Stand your ground" in NC but if I have to use my gun, I will try to avoid it at first. I will even back away, leave etc. ANYTHING to not use the gun as with juries, especially if the attacker is not white, we will get sued.
