We all thought Rodgers would fix everything. The problem is I think the players and coaches thought the same thing. The delay of games is a result of running the entire offense through Rodgers. He has to adjust the protections, then adjust the routes. Thats what he wanted so he has to own it. That said, the last two games our defense has shit the bed. And Ulbrich is in way over his head. Doesnt mean we shouldnt have fired Saleh. Saleh was in over his head. It just should have been done in the offseason. Rodgers hasnt lived up to expectations. I think his arm is fine. I think the Achilles is fine. He has something wrong with his knee and/or ankle. Also the beating he took earlier in the season has sped up his clock. Father time, becoming a Jet. All of the above. Bringing Rex back isnt the answer. Do you idiots remember how it ended with Rex? This team has broken our spirits and brains. Rex deserved to be fired. Geno deserved to go. Sam deserved to go. So did Zach. I see people talking about the Redskins and how they changed owners. Their 100 owners have nothing to do with their success. They got the QB pick right. The Texans owner had his pastor running the team for fucks sake. And they wanted to draft Bryce Young. They lucked into Stroud. Like I said in the other thread, this isnt even a curse. Its beyond. What’s this we shit? Me and one other guy on here wanted David Carr. He would have been cheaper. We would’ve had two second round draft picks and honestly Rogers is bailing out on his throes like he did in Green Bay his last year. This is a fucking disaster

ANYONE WHO COMES HERE IS CURSED!!! Rodgers is declining. Hall, Wilson, Sauce all have PTSD, seriously after every loss they're thinking "oh fuck here we go again". Sucked in to the massive suck of EPIC SUCK that is the Jets.

And how would have that worked out? Since we are going with predetermined outcomes, Carr is on IR. We would have the picks but Joe Douglas would be the one making them and our coaching staff would be the ones developing them.
Funny you said David instead of Derek. Behind last years OL we would have had Derek would have been David-like.
We would have been fucked no matter who we chose. Thats the moral of the story.

It's really quite amazing to think about the amount of talent on offense across the board + a HOF, SB Winning, 4 X MVP QB at the helm...and STILL shit the bed in epic porportions
allow less than 250 yards commit 0 turnovers Score more than 20 points
...and lose!! In the the history of the NFL, it's never been done. 750-1. 1 loss being yesterday.
There are forces at play greater than any talent you can bring in. I'm rooting for the Lions. That's the team we were supposed to become.

LMAO.
Cant see the holes bc this team was one giant gaping hole.

We would not have had Hackett as the offensive coordinator either. Rogers wasn’t happy with a head coach that got him two MVPs late in his career. He’d rather do what he wants than be successful. David Carr wanted to come here because he wanted to be somewhere where he was wanted. He was not gonna demand his own personal offensive coordinator or rock the boat.

I agree with all of this, and I don't want that Buffoon back as the HC.

Add in our off-season acquisitions and draft and we would be juggernauts

I agree they should take 2025 off or move to the UFL for a season to reset.

At that point we already hired Hackett so Carr would have had Hackett as an OC. Hackett and Saleh were going out to lunch with Carr during the recruiting if you remember.
Rodgers wasnt happy with the front office in Green Bay. They drafted Love when he felt they should have been helping the team in the short term.
Rodgers hasnt lived up to expectations. And this year is a knock on his legacy. But he isnt in Top 10 problems with this team now.

I wonder if his grandpa would let him come here after what Parcells did with Peyton.
