Incredible movie. Anyone who says this is a pro-war movie or that it glorifies war is out of their goddamn hippie mind. An extremely nuanced look into the life of a soldier and the lives of his friends and loved ones. Chris Kyle was an American hero, not for what he did overseas, but for everything he did for veterans at home. I wouldn't say its Best Picture worthy, but Bradley Cooper definitely deserves an Oscar. Go see this movie if you haven't.

Can anyone 'splain the plot to this movie? All the trailer shows is a guy talking to his wife sayin I'm coming home baby. Anything else happen in this movie, or just a 90 minute phone call?

I thought it was propaganda and probably highly inaccurate to real events, ripe for riling up patriotism. Sorry.
As a film it was OK.
