So I had cataract surgery a few days ago and you’re supposed to wear sunglasses outdoors. I wake up this morning forget to put the sunglasses on and go outside to get the garbage cans. As soon as I get into the sun, I’m thinking holy fuck it’s bright outside. Two seconds later I remember I don’t have any sunglasses on and flew into the house like a vampire on fire. What a putz.

Figured you hadn't had enough shit thrown at you this year so you asked to have a laser beamed into your eyes? I was pretty much blind in my left eye and half blind in my right. I could make out shapes in my left eye before the surgery. I couldn’t stop smiling the entire day after the surgery. I’ve been putting this off for years, but I Finally bit the bullet and had it done. I wasn’t uptight about any of the surgeries I had done, but the idea of somebody fucking with my eyes terrified me. They gave me something for anxiety. At the surgeons office and I really didn’t sweat it at all. I’m so glad I had this done and I wish I had had it done sooner now I can’t wait to get my right eye done. |
