I never have issues with my salad spinner because I don't have salad spinner. I used to have one. It was plastic. I don't think it needed a brake. What kind of rpm's are you dealing with when your salads are spun? All well made spinners (I own an OXO) now come equipped with a button (brake) which stops the drum rotation. Otherwise, salad would come flying out if you attempted to remove the top as the drum continued to spin. As for RPMs: You want a really brisk pace to remove as much water from your greens as possible. Wet salad is a disaster for dressing adhesion. When you can't read your favorite message board at work because its being trolled by a previously banned poster or troll.  I hope you're not referring to me. As far as I can tell, most folks are appreciating my attempts at humor in this thread. How can you call my work here trolling? And no, I'm not a banned poster. Then a former poster? Your style is quite innocuous. |

My wife does not like the chemise I bought her for our anniversary. Style is fine, but I was completely off with the color selection (I still believe it to be de rigueur). Now I'll need to head off to the boutique on Prescott to orchestrate an exchange. God, I hope that Amer-Asian salesgirl isn't there. She has such a condescending tone (What some might call a "'tude".), and had warned me that my color choice could, potentially, be off putting. What a week it has been, my friends.
