Welp, knew that Pittsburgh series would be tough. Good news is we don't have to play the NL Central anymore this season... Next 2 with Orioles will be tough. Davis absolutely crushing the ball.

Adam Rubin @adamrubinespn 29s29 seconds ago Reliever Bobby Parnell headed to disabled list es.pn/1NhI6mr #NYM #Mets Reliever Bobby Parnell headed to disabled list 1h Adam Rubin, ESPN Staff Writer
New York Mets reliever Bobby Parnell is headed to the disabled list as the corresponding move for Logan Verrett's promotion from Triple-A Las Vegas. Parnell had a rough weekend against the Pittsburgh Pirates, suffering two losses. In 10 relief appearances since July 22, Parnell is 0-3 with a 14.14 ERA and .429 opponent batting average. Parnell's difficulties are a reminder that not every pitcher has a smooth return from Tommy John surgery. Parnell had the procedure on April 8, 2014. There has been no particular setback prompting Parnell to land on the DL. Instead, Parnell has been deemed to be suffering from fatigue.

Also recalled Logan Verrett. Guess it will be up to Verrett and Robles to get us to the 8th inning.

These 9th innings are taking years off of my life. Couple of weeks ago against the Marlins, the game tonight, blown game against SD. Badly needed win, but shouldn't have had to sweat it out so much.

Something needs to happen with the bullpen ASAP, this is getting ridiculous. Only so much you can do with 7 2/3 solid innings and 5 runs of offense...

Got to hope some call up catches fire or something. I think they need to put Robles in a bigger role. I know he is erratic, but at least has a live arm.

Nats lose... 4 games back.
Colon & Niese next 2 and they may skip over Harvey with Verrett. The bats need to wake up ... we may need 6 runs/gm

Rocking the Rockies right now.
Apparently Harvey won't get a start this week, Verrett will take his place on Sunday. Not sure how I feel about it
