Well, that is 5 straight wins. Tonight's heroes are Cespedes, Cuddyer, Robles and Familia. Different guys every night. 5 straight wins and poor outings by our starters in 4 of them -- only strong start was Logan Verrett.
1st road win for Thor.

That's what they call "Grinding" out a win.
Batters swinging at a lot of bad pitches, but do just enough to get the win.
Familia showing a splitter and high velocity sinker... NASTY!!
What the hell was O'Flaherty doing out there to start an inning? Robles, Clippard and Familia... That's all I want to see from here on out... I'll allow Verrett as well.

What the hell was O'Flaherty doing out there to start an inning? Might be the only deadline move that is not working out. But Robles bailed him out -- looking really good of late. And on the quick pitch, as TC said after the game, if its not illegal, the kid can throw it. Let the Phillies whine all they want. You are in Philly country, aren't you, Booz?

I figured they were giving Robles an off day since he pitched last two days. But then to see him come in left me scratching my head. Should have just started the inning. It's time for Eric Ofaggerty to do whatever Bobby Parnell is doing.

O'Flaherty hasn't done anything at all since coming here. Gets destroyed by righties. Would even rather have Carlos Torres out there.

The batter was in the box forever look the eff up. It was a little bit of gamesmanship, and Bowa and Francouer acting like Robles threw at him or showed him up. man the fuck up.

Their farm system isn't good and the Howard contract weighs heavily on the franchise. I will be the most despised man in our town walking down the street flashing a Harvey/Wright jersey. lol. What blows my mind is we still have Matz returning in a week. Bullpen and SP should be lights out. Hoping Duda healthy when he returns. Nats have re-worked their rotation. We will be seeing their Big 3 when we head to DC. Should be electric!! I'd love to be up 7 games heading into that series.

I had the misfortune of being in school in Philly in the early 80s. Phillies and 76ers win world championships and Eagles got to the SB. Was just brutal for a NYer. Still hate Tug McGraw to this day for his comments about NY during the Phillies victory parade. At least I had the Islanders back then. Makes it all a bit sweeter right now -- I even rooted for the Yankees when they beat the Phillies in the Series a few years ago.

May explain why he was off the other day.
Marc Carig @marccarig 22s22 seconds ago TC confirms reports that deGrom was feeling ill during his start the other day.

Has O'Flaherty even finished a single inning? Just DFA him tomorrow and be done with it.
