Anyone else getting worried about the pitching staff. Starters have not been nearly as good over the past few weeks (except Colon) and bullpen is a question mark every night. Tonight is the second time this week where we rallied to either cut into a lead or take the lead and the bullpen gave it right back in the next half inning.

Can someone give me one good reason why Eric O'Flaherty is still on this team. He does not get anybody out. Cannot win with this guy.
Lead down to 5 -- I am officially nervous.

Inexcusable, been saying it for weeks. Especially at this point in the season with so much to lose he's a liability, the game is in jeopardy whenever he's on the mound. Shitty trade, club needs to get over it and DFA weeks ago.

Mike Singletary could have been talking about O'Flaherty

Finally!
Lucas Duda to begin minor league rehab assignment Saturday
By D.J. ShortSep 5, 2015, 10:05 AM EDT Lucas Duda wasn’t able to return from to return from the disabled list when he was first eligible as the Mets originally hoped, but Matt Ehalt of the Bergen Record reports that he’s set to begin a minor league rehab assignment Saturday with Double-A Binghamton.
Duda has been sidelined since August 21 with a thoracic herniation in his back. Mets assistant general manager John Ricco said Friday that it’s unlikely he’ll be ready when the team begins their big showdown against the Nationals on Monday, but he could be activated at some point later on in the series. Michael Cuddyer is also sidelined right now due to wrist tendinitis, so the Mets are relying on Kelly Johnson at first base.
Duda, 29, is batting .247/.346/.472 with 21 home runs and 56 RBI over 113 games this season.

Well, could be anywhere from only 1 to as many as 7 games up after this series. Do or die time for this team. This Harvey shit couldn't have come at a worse time

I think I am developing a love-hate relationship with this bullpen. They bailed out Niese today, big time. 5 2/3 scoreless.
Either they are lights out or they are absolutely dreadful. Huge win today, now hopefully they can at least split the next two and get out of DC with this 5 game lead.
