Agreed. He did make a nice play on a sinking liner in the gap. I thought he and Lagaras were going to collide. 2 runners on and 2 out. Big out. I don't know if the rookie Conforto makes that play, but considering he's a better hitter I would prefer Conforto hitting in the 6th or 7th hole. He should be sent down to make room for Cespedes but I have a feeling they're going to send down Conforto to get him more AB... |

I would rather let Conforto play every day in AAA than sit on the bench here. If we need someone to sit on the bench to pinch hit and get an occasional spot start, let Campbell do that. At least until Cuddyer comes back. Have they announced a roster move to make room for Cespedes yet? |

And, 2 straight strong outings from Familia -- nice to see him throwing well again. As for Duda, I apologize for everything I said about him throughout most of June and July. He is swinging a great bat right now.
