Another poster in a different thread touched on the lunacy of liberals about stuff like this. Their the ones whose laws have created the police state...but now decry it's effects. I'm not saying you're one of those people south. I've been posting politic crap for 10 years with you guys. I find myself drifting further right. I'm sure there is a long line of posters who are gonna say "I told you so". Libs are nuts. Just like the far righty people. How did this become a dig at liberals? Judge Posner is a very conservative judge with a background in conservative economic theory. He is the most well-known judge of the seventh circuit court of appeals, which is arguably the most conservative appellate court in the nation.

Lol, why try to fix things when you can complain about how other people are (or aren't) dealing with the issue, amirite? With regards to what the judges said about privacy being overrated, in a broad sense he's right. There is so much information voluntarily put out there due to technology that privacy, by and large, doesn't exist. Now, with regard to the finer points of the NSA having a field day with that information, that's an infinitely more difficult issue to debate. I just did a short expository paper on this subject and barely scratched the surface. Here's some scholarly articles that I cited in my paper that pertain to the issue, the last of which is an interview with the filmmaker of "Terms and Conditions May Apply", a documentary on the subject.: Warner, Richard. “Undermined Norms: The Corrosive Effect of Information Processing Technology on Informational Privacy.” St. Louis University Law Journal, Vol. 55 No. 3. (Spring 2011): 1047-1086. Siegel, David A. "Will You Accept The Government's Friend Request? Social Networks And Privacy Concerns." Plos ONE 8.11 (2013): 1-6. Kattan, Llana. R. “Cloudy Privacy Protections: Why the Stored Communications Act Fails to Protect the Privacy of Communications Stored in the Cloud.” Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment & Technology Law. (Spring 2011). West, Dennis, and Joan M. West. "Big Brother's Terms And Conditions Do Apply." Cineaste 38.4 (2013): 38-44.

It's my job to fix things now? It was an observation and it was spot on. What, you gonna argue that this thread has been on topic? No. But it looks like I hurt some feelings for pointing this out. Good stuff.

A decent one based on the Jets football content. But I guess I'm public enemy number one now instead of you and the other mods actually taking in critique and improving. Probably best to ban such an infidel.

These are your latest responses and I'm the one with hurt feelings, lol? Perhaps 'fix' was a poor choice of words, as my use of it was obviously(?) not literal; it was an observation on my part that you'd rather complain about how a subject that you apparently deem important is being discussed rather than voice those concerns, thereby possibly creating a dialog that would further the discussion. Instead, you inferred some judgement being projected on my part, which certainly wasn't the case (okay, maybe a little bit, lol). That I took the time to share my commentary and citations should've tipped you off to that. If you'd like to further the conversation, I'd be happy to participate to the best of my ability, time permitting. Either way, try to relax, whydontcha?

No one here is banning you lol. But if you're here to just sling bullshit back and forth you're probably better of leaving as these guys love a target. Would of been better if you used your real name signing up. No one likes a pussy on a high horse rambling incoherently on things he thinks are facts. But hey do what you want.
