With how camp seems to be folding out I think we might be better off giving badges to the anti-Genos for some public shaming later in the season

And then Decker went down with his hamstring issue and we were back to rooting for 3rd tier talent as our top weapons.
Not to mention the continued smothering of the offense by the previous regime.

Didn't we have really high hopes for him after last year's TC? Yes and it follows the same vein as how well he plays at the end of each season. When there's no pressure he comes out and plays well but when there is pressure for him to perform he doesn't.

Geno Smith is a TERRIBLE QB. There is really no denying this claim. He clearly fails the eye test and ranks at or near the bottom of starting NFL QBs in almost every statistical measure of quarterback play.
I'm starting to get tired of apologists like Harrier defending Geno at every time. It's always on excuse after another - poor o-line, receivers, backs, coaches, waterboys, etc. How is it that the most important position on the field is exonerated from any and all blame? It's akin to saying Hitler isn't to blame for the Holocaust because he didn't personally kill any concentration camp victims.

Fuck Geno. He sucks. He'll be the reason they lost more than the reason they won.

Hey you fuckin cuntface, at least call the whole Geno loving community out. I've said a million times that Geno is getting the same rope Sanchez had, if he doesn't get it done this year with a full deck then fair enough it's time to move on. No matter who plays the position for this team, as soon as they have a bad game or turn the ball over in practice, it's back to square one "they are not good enough" that's the problem with this fanbase, no fucker has time to develop. Is Petty goin to get the same treatment when he follows the same trajectory?

What you rubes don't know about football is scary. Geno is on the normal trajectory for 99% of the great quarterbacks that came before him. He never had time to hold the clipboard and learn for 2 seasons like most of them. His clipboard was the football. Your clipboard is your schmekele. Trying too hard or not, it's a legitimate stance, one I have brought up previously as well. For every elite QB in the NFL that came in and started immediately(Manning, Luck) there is a counterpart(Brees, Rodgers, Brady) that sat for an extended time to start their career. I have no idea if Geno would be any better off if he had only played a few mop up snaps up to this point, but there is a real argument that can be made that is the best way to develop a QB.

Yeah I agree completely, this goes hand in hand with what most of the pro-Geno people have been saying. I think most of the fanbase is starting to realize this now with Petty, even if hes not the answer. Just don't like the whole trying too hard to troll schtick it came wrapped in.

Now this guy gets it. The legendary Bill Parcells himself once said "you don't know what you have in a guy until year 3." He also said "If I played Tony Romo as a rookie he would have been out of the league in less than 2 years." Making the seamless jump from college star QB immediately to NFL star QB is a rarity. Look how long we've been waiting for RayRay to develop into a rational and effective poster. It just doesn't happen overnight. And Geno can get by with his limited IQ, I mean look at what Ragu has accomplished.
