Can't wait. Gotta DVR the game. I don't mind, I can zip thru the intermissions when I get home! L - follow this link for the ticket guy for Monday. Prices have definitely gone up. I would take a look at Stubhub as this is as expensive as I've ever seen it.

Well, that was fun.
2nd period might have been the best 20 minutes of hockey I have seen this year -- and they continued to attack in the 3rd. Great game.

Being a Jets and Isles fan that was the best fucking game all year. After the back and forth first we totally dominated that game, and the Boychuk hit on Nash was priceless.

And, with Tampa losing to the Bruins, we are now in first place in the East. This was a big win with the Rangers having so many games in hand. And I fucking love Anders Lee. Always in front of the net -- we have not had a net-front presence like him in ages.

And I fucking love Anders Lee. Always in front of the net -- we have not had a net-front presence like him in ages. A much better version of Moulson because he can actually handle the puck. I just happened to focus in on Lee during that play......the way he fought for position the entire time was Ol Time Hockey at its best.

Big fan of Lee myself.
Isles played a solid game. Very smart with the puck. Chasing Lunderqueef from the net was awesome.
Great win. Great game to watch, even on the DVR. Zip thru the intermissions.
Damn Twitter feed ruined a bit of the game for me though. Checked in here in the second when it was 0-0, and some Twitter said isles up 2-0, garden silent.

I had the Ranger feed here in Chicago -- I think it was Ron Duguay commenting after the first period when it was still scoreless how quiet the Garden was. Maybe its cause there were so many Islander fans there, because it sounded pretty loud to me at the end.

Halak made some great saves, too.

Halak made some great saves, too. Halak played well -- I guess anytime a goalie shuts out a strong offensive team like the Rangers, he plays well. But to me, last night's game was more about the team in front of him. Halak needed to be good, but he did not need to be great. I think we had 20+ blocked shots. Halak controlled rebounds well, and when he didn't our D generally got to the loose puck and cleared it. We took away shooting and passing lanes, controlled the puck, played long stretched in our offensive zone and controlled the front of our net. Sometimes a shutout is all about the goalie -- other times it is a team effort. Last night it was all about the team. A great win with contributions from all 20 guys.

This team is starting win the faceoff battle - and dominated puck drops last night. It makes such a huge difference on both ends of the rink.

And an aside, I'm still not a fan of the playoff format. For the conference finals, there's no way division rivals can play each other.

What'd y'all think the markup is at the pro shop at the coliseum for Isles jerseys?
