Poor Gurley.......poor, poor Gurley. If the Lith jinx strikes again, maybe I should go post on a Patriots board when the season starts. Keep posting here, just put Tammy as your avatar.

Keep posting here, just put Tammy as your avatar. Not a bad idea -- although I am not sure I could actually bring myself to do it. Crap -- now we have to watch the Pats take the ice before the game -- what is this shit.

Weakest hooking call I may have ever seen.

Then again, yet another lousy PK by the Isles.
They really gotta do something. Blow the whole fuckon thing up and start again.

BTW, saw a kid with a 2 - Streit t-shirt on today.
Didn't get a chance to ask him 'why?'

Good effort tonight. CJ played well but Rask was better. Was hoping to at least come away with one point, but if CJ plays like this the rest of the way, we will be in pretty good shape in the net.

He did play well but he needs to better control his rebounds. It was a good game to watch even though it was not the desired outcome. Strome also got his noodle wet....which is a good thing.

What the fuck was up with Strome? My wife dragged me to a play - I check out the box score before I have to put my phone away and I see a 5 minute major. Guessing both benches were hysterically laughing. Glad to hear CJ looked ok - there are a ton of games the rest of the month. Sounds like they played a decent game. As long as we win tonight I'm ok with a close loss last night. But gotta take care of business tonight and Tuesday

This one might be tougher than it appears on paper-
"The Islanders have a few lineup changes for Sunday.
New York placed forward Michael Grabner on injured reserve with an upper body injury and recalled forwards Colin McDonald and Harry Zolnierczyk from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League on an emergency basis. Zolnierczyk will replace Grabner and McDonald replaces Cal Clutterbuck who will miss the game with an upper body injury.
“I think the adrenaline will be there for these guys,” Islanders coach Jack Capuano said. “Obviously we’re going to need all four lines with the amount of hockey that we’ve played. They’ve played the same system, they had a good training camp with us, and they’re veteran guys – they’ve been around so we just want to see some structure. We want to see them play with a lot of confidence and, like I told them, they’re here to help our team win.”
On defense, Lubomir Visnovsky will replace Calvin de Haan. De Haan was cut in the face by a skate blade in a 2-1 loss to the Bruins on Saturday. Jaroslav Halak will start in goal."
