Kid line had great pressure and chances all night long Does it seem like whatever line Anders Lee is on generates a lot of offense. JT had his best stretch this season with Lee & Bailey. The Strome and Nelson have been at their best when paired with Lee. They need to clone Anders Lee.

Told you that Lee kid was alright.
Defense played much better tonight. Not sure if that's a product of having 4 days off and playing a team that played last night, but they did play a good game.

9th place Ottawa at 83 points, 11 GR. Quick math with Isles 9 GR.... 105 max possible for Ottawa... Isles at 92 pts.. 14 points clinches no questions asked.
7-2 the rest of the way?

BIG L!!! Stop the insanity!
Besides, you are looking at the wrong team. Boston is looking like the 9th team with only 9 left to play and in a complete tailspin with the next 2 vs Ducks and Rangers.

I really wish they would give Hickey a couple of nights off. He is downright awful.

Yup. Ottawa took over the 8 seed,. Boston is 9th -- 8 points back, no games in hand. On March 1, we were 17 points up on the last playoff spot. Nice to have played well early and built up the cushion. Time to start playing well later and followup the good effort against NJ with a strong game against a solid Wild team.

Can't believe they didn't get 2 points out of that.
They suck in the shootout lately.

Exciting game to watch and Halak was on his game tonight, yet we run into another goalie standing on his head. Time to sit Hickey.....tying goal was his man as usual. WTF does he bring to the table?

I am getting tired of always giving credit to opposing goalies. At some point, I think we need to realize that this team is in a scoring slump, regardless of who is in net. These guys cannot beat a goalie right now. Plenty of opportunities each game but they cant finish.

Maybe Bailey can pull his head out of his ass and make a decisive play for once. It's still a team two years out.
