Are you boys off the ledge yet? You can't honestly tell me you weren't on edge the whole game until midway thru the third. The only time I got a bit nervous was w the double minor. Last night was a bit frustrating they couldn't get a 2nd past the rookie, but they completely dominated the entire 60 minutes. But it my question was more about the "collapsers" mentality of my friends in this forum. I think 4 more points and we will lock up the 4 seed and home ice in first round. |

I am still concerned about the way they are playing heading into the playoffs. Yes, they won last night, but that is still only their third regulation win in nearly a month, and Buffalo is the worst team in the NHL. They are not exactly playing their best heading into the playoffs -- let them come out and kick ass over these next 3 games and lock up home ice, and I will be all the way in off the ledge. Going to the game in Philly Tuesday night -- and I have not had much luck seeing them live lately. Hopefully they string together a few solid games. |

Posting a W against the leagues worst team that hung tough for 50 minutes isn't exactly something to crow about heading in to the playoffs. A W is a W, and they absolutely should have beaten Buff, and did. Teams in the playoffs are ALOT better than Buffalo, so they'd better be prepared to up their game considerably. now, go Leafs go! |

Honestly, if you were the Rangers, would you really want to face Ottawa in the first round? I'm rooting for this. Reminds me of the year in the late 80s the islanders were the one seed and faced an upstart 8 seed from New Jersey.

Grabo on the ice today, full contact sweater. Capuano says he wont play tomorrow though.
Nielsen and Martin both off for a "maintenance day". Martin blocked a shot Sat night, that could be why, for him.

Grabner-Grabovski-Nelson-Clutterbuck
Boulton-Cizikas-Kennedy-McDonald
No word on the defensive pairings, but Im going to keep banging the CdH drum.... guys got to get on the ice, Id think, if you want him to be of any use in the playoffs.
