3h Arthur Staple ✔ @stapenewsday Capuano on Hamonic: "It's undisclosed and there's no timetable. When there is, I'll let you know." That really sucks, he would be huge for us in the playoffs.

On the eve of the first playoff game, and this place is dead. What's wrong with you people?

I'll only get to see the first 5-10 minutes of the first, then I gotta head out. Not sure if I should not check the score when I get home at 9 and watch the thing DVR'd. Only set to record from 7 to 11. If I don't check the score, and it goes to one of those double OT games, I'd miss the GWG. If I check the score at 9, and up to 11 periodically, I'll know to record more as I watch if required, but then I'd know who is winning/won. Dilemas dilemas....

Good first period until Halak decides to wait and play a puck which barely reaches the trapezoid. Turnover and goal in the final minute. Chain that guys ass to the crease -- every time he tries to play the puck, bad shit happens. Frustrating, but hopefully they can keep outskating the Caps over the last 40.

Well, at least we saved our best game of the last two months for the right time. Just an awesome game all around. They really simplified things tonight , chipping pucks out of the zone, dumping it in, cycling down low. They were a different team tonight. Other than the one mistake late in the first (and another near mistake playing the puck in the 3rd, Halak looked great tonight. Great contributions from guys like Kulemin, Bailey, Nelson, KO, Strait. Great team effort.
Great performance all around.

Great game. The Boychuck/Leddy addition has been huge to this team.
I'll be checking in on this thread for the next 3 games because of the move so keep me informed.
Lets go Isles!!!!! I'm fucking pumped.

I'm fucking pumped. They looked like a completely different team tonight from what we have been watching over the last two months. Not just in quality of play, but style of play as well. Kept things simple and great contributions right up and down the roster. Now, I am excited about the playoffs.

They played a great game. Fun to watch. They really cut down on the mistakes they've been making the past two months. Didn't allow the Caps players a lot of space when they were in the offensive zone. Always tried to have a body on the player with the puck. Got stuck in their own zone a few times, but luckily it didn't burn them like it has recently. A super soft goal allowed by Halak in the final minute of the period. Hopefully they can fix that shit.
Keep up the good work. I expect a tougher Caps team on Friday.

I am one of the last guys to give credit to Cappy, but you are right. He had them ready to play and they changed up what they were doing in the regular season. Kept things a lot simpler, took away the long up ice and cross ice passes from Washington and did more of the blue collar stuff than we have seen from the team this season. I loved the work Okposo did on Bailey's goal, keeping the puck down low, working his ass off and winning a couple of puck battles behind the net and along the boards before getting the puck in front where Bailey got enough of it to get it in behind Holtby. Hopefully they keep it going.
