Can't complain about it with the way things worked out today. Interesting to see whether or not Cappy brings him back Monday or if he goes with the same lineup. If anyone told you before the series that we would lose 3 of our top 6 Dmen and go 0 for the series on the PP, would you think we would still have a shot. These guys deserve a lot of credit for the way they came back today after the ass whipping on Thursday night. |

Just got home 20 minutes ago. Holy fuck, traffic on the meadowbrook and northern state is atrocious. Solid crawl all the way to the cross island.
One hell of a game, got real loud in there! One thing I noticed, and it will never be as loud as it was in the past - half you fucking idiots are on your phones recording the shit instead of yelling and clapping. How the fuck can you make noise with a goddamn phone in your hand! Put the fucking things down, and enjoy the fucking moment! But it was loud, and it was awesome they won.
Wasn't sure if Mayfields play came thru on TV, sounds like it did. I was going to comment that Mayfield played damn good. First playoff game? Nice job
Bailey is soft. Shys away from any contact what so ever.
Kulemin is solid all around. Grabo made some nice plays, too.
JT - what else do you need to say.
Awesome game, what time is game 7?

Halak played great, too. Hate that goal with 4.3 remaining. I was pissed well in to the second about that.

Well, fuck off! no offense. Well one half of that equation is already decided. The only thing that can affect it now is what the Islanders decide to do. New York fans against NY fans, will make things very uncomfortable here, like it already is becoming. Blame Vin! He was a total douchenozzle about it last year. Nothing personal towards you of course, just like I'm sure yours isn't either. Amirite?  BTW why does it seem to be all Islander fans on this board? Also BTW sorry about the engineer "joke", seems like you didn't care for it and still remember it, but we architects have to rib someone. Who is Vin? and I don't recall a joke at all. That the one where he was standing around in the neutral zone and let the guy get behind him to the blue line for the stretch pass. He also made some nice plays in our end in the 2nd and 3rd, but yeah, that play was awful. Looked like he assumed the period was over. He is our #3 Dman in this series and we still managed to get to game 7. |
