Question for the group (all 4 of us): Who is the second most valuable player on the Islanders? Jesus Greiss, our Lord and Saver? Love how he got the start tonight, after a nice game in Tampa and Halaks awesome shootout performance in Miami. The Isles probably 2-3 wins less with Poulin, Johnson, or Neuvirthe as backup instead of Greiss.

I am with Rob, I have to go with Boychuk as 2nd most valuable. Greiss has been great, but not over a long enough period for me to consider him #2. We have plenty of depth throughout our 4 lines that I can't see any forwards other than JT as indispensable. Boychuk is #2 on the team in my opinion.

Huge goals by Cizikas and Clutterbuck in the 3rd. They were dominant all game long. Saw this posted online right after teh Clutter goal:

Going into the season I would have said Boychuk was the 2nd MVP of the team.
Now I sort of feel it is Franz. I think we would be in a real bad way without him.

Felt like a playoff game. I was shocked we killed off the penalty in OT.
