One guy I thought played really well tonight was Strome. Really nice give and go with Grabo on the goal and I thought he was really strong in the neutral zone and in his own end. Solid all around game, he has been much better since coming back from Bridgeport.

Whomever is paired with Boychuk elevate their game just like Leddy last year. |

Would like to see a couple more goals for a regulation/OT win, but two points is the bottom line now. Hopefully the team we saw at the beginning of last season is back. |

Didn't deserve it tonight, but the two points still count.
Can someone please tell Cappy that it is OK to put two forwards out there in overtime and that the team can actually try to score. Every overtime period seems like they spend 80% of the time in their own zone. And you gotta love the OT line changes. We play for the shootout. Pissed off about the way we played, but happy with the points.
Also, gotta give some credit to Halak. He has bounced back really well in the last two shootouts after that disaster in Florida. Stole two for us tonight.

Sloppy game. I'm surprised, they had a few days off. Ottawa game I'd expect, that was a lot of games in a few days.
Was hopeful the bad play of earlier in the season was behind them.
Two points is two points. To get two on a night you play like shit is something, at least.
