Can someone please tell Cappy that it is OK to put two forwards out there in overtime and that the team can actually try to score. Every overtime period seems like they spend 80% of the time in their own zone. And you gotta love the OT line changes. We play for the shootout. Pissed off about the way we played, but happy with the points. It's about time someone said it. We're an offensive team and he's always playing 2 Dmen out there during the fast break 3 on 3. We keep on grabbing points but his decisions are questionable at best. Too many men on the ice twice in about a week on a 3 on 3 is inexcusable.

Didn't believe that was in in OT. When Bailey dropped it to KO, I was like why the hell didn't you shoot it, and KO could bury a rebound if there was one. Then looked like no room for KO to shoot, and I was sure it was laying under the goalie for the save. But it squeaked thru. Actually when thru pretty clean. Don't think the goalie got a piece.
2 points, I'll take it. Another OT game.

Points in 9 straight, but only 3 regulation wins. 5 straight OTs. We have won 4 of the 5. 3 straight blown 3rd period leads and 7-0-2 in their last 9. Bailey and Okposo on ice at the same time in OT was the surprising part to me. Was watching the Columbus feed last night -- they even remarked that they have not seen a team play two defense in OT before. Nice to see Halak and Greiss both playing really well right now.

And now can't buy a goal.
Got too cocky on their point streak, thinking now they don't have to try.

Perfect chance to put some distance between us and the Rangers with the Rangers slump, but instead we decide fuck scoring goals, who needs em.
Maybe returning home tonight will get their ass in gear.

Good read on JT and the isles. One thing mentioned to shake it up is a coaching change....

Lets hope after tonight our offense starts getting on track. Tavares usually has a hot January and if Lee can pick it up watch out now that we finally have goaltending and a PK.

Sounds like we dodged a bullet on the Boychuk injury.
