Great effort tonight. Damn shame to come away with no points. How do you lose OV in the slot with less than 3 left in a tie game. Of all the people on the ice, how does Ovie get free.
Sucks -- they deserved better tonight.

That's a tough loss but hopefully it's a sign that they'll start playing with some passion. |

Just turned it off. Seen enough.
Thought they played a pretty solid first period, but got beat up ice twice and Halak was beaten both times.
Anyone else completely frustrated with the play of Strome -- especially in his own end. Lazy fucking bastard. Stood around and watched Ovie on Thursday night with the game winner. Didn't hustle back on the first period goal where Larkin fed Quincy on the 4 on 4. He had a real nice view of Quincy beating Halak. No hustle at all. No clue in his own end of the ice. 5 goals on the season. The way he plays defense, if he is not scoring 20+, he is a liability out there.

He is a completely different player than last and playing with JT has not helped. He looks lazy, is weak along the boards, and creates nothing. IMO this teams needs a coaching change and has for years. Hopefully with Wang out it finally happens. My other concern is how the collection of forwards on this team is constructed, with about half of the players as natural centers and that is on Snow. Draft or trade for a fucking winger that can finish, enough of all of these centers and their dipsy doodle shit. |

I did put some blame on Snow. I still wouldn't mind if he is retained because he has had so little funds to work with over the years constructing this team although I'd have no problem if they let him go and cleanse the organization. It's been 23 years since they won a playoff round........23 YEARS.
