Haven't paid too much attention in preseason, but it seems like the Isles really sucked? Me neither but everytime I catch a score they are getting smoked. I'm going to Game #2 in Brooklyn vs the Jets on Columbus Day. I typically don't root against a team called the Jets in October, so this will be a bit weird. I will be heading into NY for the Jets - Skins game, going to catch the Isles-Sharks on the Saturday night before. Haven't paid any attention to the preseason -- too much going on with the Mets and Jets both playing well and playing games that mean something. |

Yes, it's a 1pm start. The tickets were given to me by my client and they are center ice 15th row or something. Maybe the best seats I'll ever get in Brooklyn, so my sightline report will not be a typical user experience. |

Poulins gone on waivers I think to Tampa. Stephon Williams? Hes in BPT.
I get a feeling Petrov comes back when Halak is healthy. Cant see them carrying 3 goalies long term.

What's the OT rules this year? Is it 3-3 OT, or was that just preseason?

Opening day, I'd put good money he goes with the vets. It would be nice to see Pulock get 40+ games his year and be the "no questions asked" guy when it comes to the playoffs (assuming that's at play). Don't have the most confidence in that though. |

How long is Hickey going to be out for? I am afraid he goes right back to BPT when Hickey is ready to go. Hope not, but based on how they have treated young D-men in the past, I think it is likely. |

Isles waived Poulin last month -- he was claimed by Tampa -- not sure if he stuck there as a back-up or was sent to AHL. OT is 3 on 3 this year -- rule change was announced in the offseason. |
