I said before the Western leg of the road trip that anything less than 7 points would be a disappointment. We went from 6 to 7 to 8, in the span of 5 minutes!
It was lucky but I'll take it. Perhaps we should be encouraged that they go west, don't play all that well, and still take 8 of 10 available, no?

I think this rangers game kicks off a run of something like 12 games in 17 days. Making up all of those games in hand. Good to have two solid goalies for a run like this -- Greiss and Halak should both get plenty of work. |

Going for the trifecta today.
My son skated on the ice at the XL Center this morning, and won his game (had a sweet tip-in). Stuck around for the Wolfpack/Soundtigers game afterward, and watched them beat the Wolfpack 3-2 (goalie Gibson looked pretty good). Now need an Isles win today to complete the trifecta.
