You just had to jinx it, didn't you? LOL, my fault. i think halak got paid to lose this game, and had to do something when it was 3-0. Strangest 20 minutes of hockey that I have seen in ages. What was Cappy thinking by scratching Greiss tonight. This is exactly the type of game we needed him -- Halak is shaky, put Greiss in. But for some reason, he is a healthy scratch tonight and Berube is active. Sheesh. Only Cappy. |

Anyone else impressed with Shane Prince. I knew nothing about him when he came here, but he always seems to be around the puck and he makes things happen. Its only a week, but I really like what I have seen from the kid. Even though he didn't get on the scoreboard, I thought he played really well tonight,

Playing with Kulemin as his center means we will never be able too fully judge the player. I just wish he was bigger. |

Great to get the win and an incredible 12 of 14 possible points on a 7 game road trip. I imagine you would have to go back to the cup years to see anything remotely similar.
That said, Halak almost handed the game away. Horrendous night for him. That 4th goal that tied was a joke. Almost bad as that glove whiff in Philly last year.

Amazing after a 6-1 road trip, barely gained any ground in the standings. It's all about the games in hand. Only 3 points behind the Rags with 3 in hand aint bad. And while they didn't pass the Rangers, they put miles between themselves and the 9th place spot. That is huge. |
