Wow. What a game. Hammer saves the day with the stop on Kessel. Great job by both Halak and Greiss. This one seemed even more intense than Sunday against the Rags.
Hope Halak is not hurt too badly.

Great game tonight....reminded me of playoff hockey with all of the physicality. Lee had a great game considering the beating he took, best part was he doled it right back.

Great game tonight....reminded me of playoff hockey with all of the physicality. Lee had a great game considering the beating he took, best part was he doled it right back. The physical play looked like it got to Pitt in the 3rd. They took some stupid penalties and it cost them. They have so much firepower, they are a scary team to play. |

I think we're 11-2-1 since Boychuk came back. Something like that. We are a completely different team when we have all 3 of our top D-men -- Hammer, Boychuk & Leddy. One of those three is missing and we tend to struggle. |
