Oh well. Just a minute awa from 2 points, but still managed one. Better than none. Missed most of the game -- saw the last 10 minutes and OT. Looked like a team playing the 2nd night of a back to back. Holding on for dear life at 2-2 to try to steal a point. Then finally, Strome makes a play only to take the penalty a few minutes later. Not sure how they played over the first 50 minutes, but judging by the last 10, I am okay that they came away with a point. Now, 2 days off. Much needed days off. |

Good to see you again Crash....I thought you were dead. I was only mostly dead. There's a difference ya know. But if I were dead I would have at least hoped for a tiny memorial in the Islanders thread. Instead nothing.
Haven't been to a game in a while mostly because they've been on the road for 3 weeks. I'm going to the FL game on Monday though if anyone's going. Just got my invoice for playoff tickets. Of course, now that I said that, they'll tank and not make it.

Either he scores a rare spectacular goal or the goalie merely waits him out and stops him and its like he can't figure out why. But the shootout is stupid. You can't get too high or low based on that result. It's totally random. A team with the goalie with the highest save % and the best shootout artist in history loses to garrett Sparks and the Peter Holland led Leafs? Uh ok. |

It's less of a reaction to the Toronto SO loss and more of a season/career long frustration. This season he is 1 for 5 in the shootout and o for 1 on the penalty shot (vs Win). He is below average in his career. For a player as skilled as JT, for the amount of work he puts in, it is sort of ridiculous. |

Would be nice to see them take it to Boston today. I feel like we haven't beaten them in forever. For some reason we can't beat the Atlantic which doesn't bode well for the next two games.
