For some odd reason Bishop has played like shit against us recently and I'll take it. We need Clutterbuck and CDH in the worst way.
Anyone see the hit where Clutter drove the guy into the bench? It was the first period and of course Howie and Butch missed it.

Anyone notice this? Cappy calls out Stome, Nelson, and Bailey. So what does he do? Puts all three on the tail end of a PP together. PP ends, Tampa proceeds to score a few seconds later.
Fuckin Cappy.

Not a good sign for deHaan: Anything on who's in net tonight? Greiss again, or is Berube healthy, or Gibson get his first start? I've seen Gibson this year, looked pretty good.

Probably not until Cappy meets with press this afternoon. I have not been overly impressed with what I have seen of Berube -- should be renamed Be-rebound.

I would bet my house that the 4th string goaltender is NOT in net tonight vs the best team in hockey with playoffs/playoff seeding on the line.
Also, we kill Cappy, so have to give credit where/when it is due. The team, and the players he called out, all responded last night.
And I LOVED Pulock's game last night. The drop pass and B-line to the net for the goal was phenomenal.... He was even on the PK.
PS: Is Clutterbuck made of fortified steel? How the hell did he return last night? I don't know what they shot him up with, and I don't think I want to know....

No reason Pulock shouldn't be in the line up from now on. Amazed clutter came back. When I saw that, and Howie was going on and on a bout the high stick, I was yelling It's his knee, you idiots! I'd be laid up for 3 months if my leg twisted like that. Mad props to the clutter.

Dipietro in between periods said that it looked like his MCL... it's good to know that he as irresponsible as a studio analyst as he was as a goaltender.

And I just lost my house... Wow. Kind of like when I spent a couple hundred bucks earlier this season to see Berube make his debut here in Chicago against the defending champs. Should have asked Cappy for my $$$ back after that one.

Damnit! Rags down 2-0, Boston tied 1-1, and the Isles go down 2-1.
Fuck!
And is Bailey a complete waste of space, or just mostly a waste of space?

Wow!!! How about Hickey!?!?!?
3-1 down with 12 minutes left. And we are going to the playoffs. GOtta give them credit, they showed a lot of fight tonight. Still too many turnovers for my taste, but that is two straight wins against good teams.

I thought they played a hell of a game and the kids stepped up. They obviously teach them to take the body in the AHL, lets hope they keep on doing it. What a game by Gibson....talk about clutch. That third goal by the Caps was a thing of beauty and he didn't have a chance, goal of the week worthy. And I love Hickey, I've been one of his biggest supporters over the years.
