Nice win tonight. Down 2-0 in LA the Rangers score 4 straight and hang on for a 4-3 win against the Kings. LGR! It was about time you jive turkeys started posting about your shit ass (but admittedly very good) team.
I've been planning on going to the game next Tuesday and its getting progressively more expensive.
It's hard being so far away but I've got tix for the February game here in Phoenix vs. the Coyotes. Haven't told the wife yet that we're spending Valentines Day 5 rows from the ice at a Rangers game.

We're back on track.
Speed kills during the regular season, but you better have grit and stamina to go along with that in the playoffs. I feel like we will continue to roll, but run out of stream like we did against the Kings. The Idlanders are fast, but they also have some size as well. Kreifer is big, but doesn't play big enough. Nash is big, but isn't a cruncher. No one on our D scares anyone physically. Hopefully we address that at trade time.

Rangers are playing great hockey right now. Worried about Klein but this team is put together pretty well. Yandle with his first goal as a blueshirt tonight.

Pains me to say it as an Isles fan, but they have to be the favorite to come out of the East right now. They are just playing at another level. When Lundqvist went down, I assumed they would be around a .500 team, but they have elevated their play since the injury. And what the fuck is a Mackenzie Skapski. Does it even matter who plays in net for them?

I'd say Montreal and Rangers in the ECF. Montreal has a good shot at winning it.

Question for the Ranger fans -- just got back from my first Ranger game at the Garden in 25+ years.
What is the deal with the Potvin sucks chants. I got it back in the 80s when we kicked your asses all the time and you were jealous of our success. It made sense back then, but now what is the point-- the guy has been retired for nearly 30 years and the Isles have sucked for most of those 30 years. Is it still done at every game, or was it just because Potvin was in the building as part of the Panthers broadcasting crew.

I can kinda sorta get that, it was Rangers-Islanders, but like you said, its been 30 years. Still hear "Potvin Sucks" and references to him beating his wife. Why it would get chanted at a Ranger-Panthers game, you got me. Makes no sense. Plus it was a clean hit
