I thought this was a class move by the Rangers last night, and great way to usher in the win 7online.com/sports/lisa-colagrossis-sons-pay-tribute-to-her-during-rangers-pre-game/681063/Friday, April 24, 2015 11:41PM NEW YORK (WABC) -- During the New York Rangers' pre-game, there was flashing lights, music, and two devoted Rangers fans skating the team flags around the ice to get the crowd pumped. Eyewitness News reporter Lisa Colagrossi sadly died of a brain hemorrhage last month. Her sons, Evan and Davis, honored their mother by wearing Rangers jerseys that said "Colagrossi" on the back. They skated the ice at Madison Square Garden with pride and then welcomed the team to the ice, with several of the players giving them fist bumps. Lisa left us way too soon, but you can bet she had the best seat in the house to see her boys make her, and us, so proud. |

4th time in 5 years facing the Caps in the Playoffs.
For some reason, there is nothing more stressful and intense for me than Rangers playoff hockey. It can sometimes feel like a chore to watch....which isn't good. I'm trying to relax a little more, especially now that the Rangers will at least be the one NY-area team to go furthest this year, but there's no doubt that this team is built for another serious Cup run. And as we saw in 1994-1996 that window closes quickly.
Zuccarello out by the way. Hopefully Klein's return happens as planned here by Game 1.

4th time in 5 years facing the Caps in the Playoffs. For some reason, there is nothing more stressful and intense for me than Rangers playoff hockey. It can sometimes feel like a chore to watch....which isn't good. I'm trying to relax a little more, especially now that the Rangers will at least be the one NY-area team to go furthest this year, but there's no doubt that this team is built for another serious Cup run. Glad to hear you say that because I literally had to step away during parts of the first playoff round. I can't take this game, it's too exciting. It's intense and non-stop, no let up. I'm not cut out to be a hockey fan. I can't even imagine what it's like to play for 60 minutes, or stand on the side being the coach and not burst a blood vessel. Sucks about Mats. Esp since his teammate did it to him. Hope he heals up soon |
