When the hell will they get on board with an underclassmen bowl that invites the RS Sophs and Juniors? I was thinking the same thing, and my best theory is -- they don't need the extra exposure. We already know they're good (a significant number anyway) and that's why they're leaving early. The most valuable part of the senior/shrine/NFLPA bowl games, is that it allows you sift through the Senior trash to find diamonds in the rough. That's over simplifying it, but you get my drift. The natural order of things equates to evaluators needing these events to help figure out who's who from the "I didn't get picked" pool of seniors. Some corner from Norfolk State is not entering the draft as a Junior.... unless of course, everyone knows about him. In which case, he doesn't need the shrine game. |

I will be looking for Shrine Game coverage this week, although it will probably be hard to come by. In the last two years, Enunwa, Marcus Williams, Ronald Martin, Wes Saxton and Taiwan Jones have all played in the game. I am sure there are guys going this year who will be on our roster next season. Not to mention it was stacked with secondary prospects; Craig Mager, Tye Smith, Josh Shaw, Bobby McClain etc |

I will be looking for Shrine Game coverage this week, although it will probably be hard to come by. In the last two years, Enunwa, Marcus Williams, Ronald Martin, Wes Saxton and Taiwan Jones have all played in the game. I am sure there are guys going this year who will be on our roster next season. Not to mention it was stacked with secondary prospects; Craig Mager, Tye Smith, Josh Shaw, Bobby McClain etc I assume that was you trying to get some rational discussion going on that Jets Facebook site? I tried to help get the discussion going, but the chances of any intelligent discussion of the Jets over there is pretty slim. |

A true late bloomer with a skies the limit type upside. More often than not I hate every QB prospect but this kid looks like the real deal and I think when all is said and done will be the first QB drafted so that should put him in that area. I've seen a bit of Goff and almost nothing on Lynch so I don't want to be overly critical of their respective games. What I did see of Goff left me wanting more and I've been on the record as hating Cook going back at least one year. Never liked Cook, never will. |

You have Rivers there, who has been good but never been able to get them over the top. If they like Wentz, and they let him sit for a year or two and get him ready to take over when it is time to move on from Rivers. |
