Get on the fucking bus
The Jets most likely won't be in position to grab a Jarred Goff, Connor Cook or Paxton Lynch...but Wentz has just as much (if not more) upside as any of them.
6'5 235, big arm, great anticipation, great mobility for a QB his size, lighting quick release...hard to find many knocks on this kid outside of the level of competition he faced.

After today...shit...maybe we will be in position to grab a kid like Cook or Lynch. Yup. Last two games we have probably gone from 21/22 to about 15/16 in the draft. Keep this up and we could have a shot at one of the QBs. |

Anyone know if Wentz is supposed to be back for the playoff game tomorrow? I heard he was practicing this week.

Anyone know if Wentz is supposed to be back for the playoff game tomorrow? I heard he was practicing this week. I can't find anything. I even checked espn and they don't even list the game under their schedule and they are televising it. It's like the game doesn't even exist, yet it is part of my weekly football pool. Time to set the DVR and hopefully he plays. If you check the estimated time for his recovery and when his injury happened, he should be playing. Wish I could be of more help but for some reason this game is totally off the map. |

He is on fire today. Hard not to like the guy. Big, athletic, big arm.
Very intriguing guy. Always liked him as a sleeper QB in round 2, might have to take him at 20 if they want him.

We are finally in a position to develop a young QB. Re-sign Fitz to hold the fort for a year or two and if we can get a kid like Wentz and let him (and Petty) sit for a season or two, then maybe we will have a young guy who can come in and get it done in another season or two.
