Trump supports help me out...

This is how tyrants and fascists get power. People don't believe they mean the disturbing and scary things they say.

Be assured, there is a meaningful contingent within this country will be very happy if Donald Drumph starts mass executing illegal immigrants and carpet bombing random brown-people countries in the name of "Freedom" and "Fighting Terror".

Just see how a strong Trump supporter describes his fellow human beings:   "....a swarm of unskilled disease-spreading leeches who came in from all the worlds shitholes not just Mexico without any kind of monitoring

That's what Trump supporters look like.

You'd almost think he was talking about vermin, lesser creatures to be exterminated, not fellow human beings.  Human beings, it should be pointed out, who come here because we employ them, because we can exploit them and pay them pennies on the dollar, and because we are too fat and lazy a nation to pick out own vegetables or work in our own factories any more.  And lets not even start on the drug and gun trade WE drive, and it's effect on Mexico.  Or the many many CIA-led bullshit in Central and South America we fucked up that helped make those countries the "shit-holes" some think they are.  

All so America white males can stop "socialism", when your average American white male can barely define the word they're willing to war and kill to stop.  Hint:  Look at the countries in Europe doing far better than us at almost every metric of citizen happiness and support.  

Trump is hot air, no question, on any issue of actual policy.  He blubbers about "make America great again" and talks in obvious generalities a three year old should see right through.  But he's clear about one think, his fascist tendencies, his authoritarian tendencies, and his clear cut belief he will make an excellent Führer (a word, we remind, that simply means "Leader".)

The worst thing the Dems will do is raise taxes by a few percentage points on the middle class (because most us here really couldn't afford a few extra bucks a paycheck, right?) and mostly on the ultra-rich who could give a fuck about us middle class folks.  Oh, and we get free lifetime healthcare out of it, retaining the freedom to aquire additional insurance if we want it, just like Europe.  For shame, for shame, mandatory death panels, right?   Lol right.  Oh, right, we can't do that, a few billioaires who profit from the profit-driven mess of healthcare as it is might lose their cash cow, oh noes.

Vote Trump if you like, be know in advance what that makes you.  That makes you a person who buys empty platitudes from an authoritarian egomaniac reality tv star, who thinks immigrants are vermin, all of Islam is worth killing off, and something something great something.  And it makes you someone who will vote against his or her own interests out of fear and ignorance.  I.e. A Republican.

And your vote will be wasted anyway, because both the majority of Republicans and all the Democrats will fight Trump.  And 35% of 50% isn't going to win any General elections.

But back to trump, for too long our military has been hampered by its rules of engagement that don't necessarily apply to the other guy.  Does the Geneva convention stop Isis from beheading or torturing civilians?  How about the combatants they face?  How about anyone who professes to have a different religion?  The answer is no on all counts and when you face an enemy so vile you will not win if you go around playing by rules.  As Carson said, since when is war civilized?  It is not.  War is hell and it should be pointed out that our army air corp (and especially those effeminite brits) did a number on german civilians during the war.  In a sense justice belongs to the victor.  But getting back to Trump and Isis, what he truly means is that we will not be able to beat those guys by playing by any rules.  The mideast has been a place where one just doesn't kill the immediate bad guy but ensures that the whole family is unable to spawn more. We all think that we are so much more civilized than we were during the Roman times but the simple fact is we aren't so what Trump says makes perfect sense.


Another point is that the Geneva convention only applies to combatants of sovereign nations.  Isis is not a nation.  It is a terror group that is squatting on someone else's territoty.  So in this instance, the rules don't apply.  And if you think they do, then just go see the ease with which Obozo launches his drone strikes.  As I recall more than one US citizen has been executed without due process.  If you want to call out Trump then at least call out the Hildebeast, Obozo and the other morons in this administration.  And let's not forget when McCain was caught saying bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb iran to the beach boys tune back in 2008.  And that's the guy who was so vehimently against waterboarding.

Right on Rangerous - two things come to mind. The British Ambassador to Washington during WW2 said that the Americans do not think of the japanese as humans, but rather talks about them as an unruly horde of insects. They were fanatical, cruel and determined. We beat them by applying overwhelming and unrelenting force. That is how you win a war. Another story regarding Ancient Rome - the carthaginians (remember hanibal and his elephants) were going up and down the Italian peninsual for years causing havic and destruction. Finally, the Cesar at the time sent a number of Roman legions lead by Roman General Skippio Africanas to the City of Carthage to take the fight to them. The roman legions laid seige to the city, destroyed it, killed everyone and salted the earth so that nothing grows there to this day. When the roman general came back and was hailed for his victory and making Rome safe once again, Cesar congratulated him. Skippio replied "We have made a desert and we will call it peace."

Now, I am not calling for this kind of tactic against the muslims in our modern times, but you do not win wars fighting with our BS rules of engagement against a determined enemy that has no regard for life. It's us vs. them and I choose our side.
