Serious question.
Trump says he would order military to kill family members of terrorists. And when asked what he would do if they refused (because military does not have to carry out illegal orders) he says "The will, I'm a leader, they'll do it."
So is this just hyperbole to excite his base? Or do you think he really believes it.
Both options seem disturbing to me. He is either simple lying or he believes it?
I am with Trump on about 75% of issues according to internet survey, but can't wrap my head around things like the above. I don't care about his insults and penis claims. But he would be a much more appealing candidate to moderates if he stopped this kind of thing above.
Thoughts?

Im with you FF2. Of course he doesn't mean this. He is all talk. But like you said, either way it is disturbing. He can not be taken seriously, nor can Rubio or Cruz...Rubio is a punk and Cruz is too far right.
The best candidate is Kasich, and therefore has no shot.

Barack and Hillary have killed people at weddings. They have killed peoples families, neighbors. Google is your friend.
Trump has the balls to talk about it. And he owns it.
Do I think we will have special forces carry out missions with the sole purpose of attacking families? Never in a million years.

Just my two cents. Trump was dead on last night when he said we can not be successful in a war against ISIS when they have rules and we do not.
Think we didn't intentionally target civilians in WWII, look up the fire bombing of Dresden.
I fail to comprehend why we were permitted to hold the German people accountable as being Nazi sympathizers or simply for allowing Hitler to come to power, but somehow the "non-combatant" Muslims who live in ISIS controlled areas, attend and cheer at the brutal executions, work in the ISIS refineries, send their children to be trained by ISIS, and provide comfort and assistance to those who work towards the goals of ISIS are not our enemies. While I would not openly advocate for their killing, they are precisely the type of collateral damage I can accept without losing a wink of sleep.

When asked this question he should just say he wants to give our military and intelligence "better toolboxes" to work with.
I do find it funny that we cringe at waterboarding while people are cutting our heads off.

But giving Hillary the office and a MINIMUM of 3 Supreme Court appointments will be worse than anything I have seen in my lifetime. |
