Love the Vikings pick of Karl Joseph. Him and Harrison Smith would be great. Add in Billings and that's a young and talented defense. It's a shame the Vikings took Trae Waynes over Marcus Peters. Thanks. It'd be a nice few rounds for Minny if it breaks this way. We'd/they'd have quite a few options going into the later rounds hitting all the major needs right off the top.

For some reason I thought Joseph was already gone. Nice pick Have not heard much about his recovery from the knee injury. Do you know if he is expected to be ready to go for TC, wherever he might end up. www.rotoworld.com/recent/cfb/131965/karl-joseph

thanks. was going back and forth between this pick and picking Su'a Cravens. was thinking of Cravens in the honey badger role in Bowle's defense. figured we could use a pass rusher more though. Do you mind sharing with us what you're thinking as far as the QB situation? It's such a cloud hanging over the franchise that I need to know what your agenda reads there so after seeing Lynch's pro day yesterday and some of the discussion about it, i wish it had happened last week. i think if i had to go back, i would take Lynch at 20. still not completely sold on him, but i think he showed a lot yesterday that he could be a potential franchise QB.

I am hoping he is the guy -- just beginning to think that if we want him, we may need to find a way to get ahead of the Rams at 15. If Macc & the CS likes him, the can't afford to sit and wait at 20. I am usually against trading up, but in this case, if we want him, get ahead of LA & Buffalo and don't risk losing him.

I filtered the player data sheet so that it only shows available players. If you prefer it shows everybody, including those already off the board, let me know and I will change it back.
Thanks

Takes a big man to admit he was wrong... (Just kidding) but I am glad you're more open to him now. I can't see the future, but I sure hope it has him in green and white. I'm desperate to have a QB we can rally behind. I think we all are.

Here's a thought I came up with last night and just figured I'd throw out there.
Doesn't someone normally grade each draft after the real draft occurs and we come up with a "winner"?
If so, first, big shout out to who ever takes the time to crunch all of those extra numbers.
If we do have a winner I would propose that that person gets first choice of teams to draft for when we do this again next year.
A little added bonus for doing well in the mock in addition to some serious bragging rights.

But you are correct in that this may be the only option if we want a day one QB. Frankly, if there is a trade up in our future, I'd like to get in front of the Rams on draft day and take Goff/Wentz.
