Paradis just exploded with the Beavers pick. Needed a left tackle behind Eugene Monroe. Took Ifedi earlier, but he projects to guard. Came down to Beavers or my very own Georgia Bulldog John Theus. Watched Theus play 4 years at UGA and didn't see a guy leaving the program who was much better than when he came in. Went with Beavers upside instead.

I was also a fan of Beavers but I only watched one tape this year after Paradis mentioned him. Maybe he falls because he had a down Senior Bowl? If he was available for the Jets at this stage I would run to the podium assuming they neglected the position earlier.

Like the Lawler pick, dude is a baller. When picking in the 4th for Houston, I strongly considered Lawler but ultimately chose Peake. Thought Peake had a better pedigree (Clemson) and seemed to be a better fit with Hopkins (also Clemson), Jalen Strong and Shorts.

Does anyone know which 7th rounder we got back from Denver. They have three 7th rounders. 7-7 from SF in the Vernon Davis deal and 7-14 from Houston (via LA) for T Chris Clark in addition to their original 7-32 pick?
If someone can confirm which pick we got I will update the draft order.

Lawler is a baller.. he's got some limitations but I'd feel good about drafting him.

As eboozer32 mentioned in another thread, drafttek shows NYJ with the 7-7 from Denver. I am going to update the board with the 7-7, but will continue to check NFL.com and adjust if needed.

Another "Snacks" or more importantly a punter or ST return demon.

Despite the amount of dirt that is thrown on late rounders like 7th rounders, each year around 300 or so UDFA are signed after the draft. One 7th round pick puts you at the head of the list of this whole group of players.

Curious to see him in preseason this year. Despite the amount of dirt that is thrown on late rounders like 7th rounders, each year around 300 or so UDFA are signed after the draft. One 7th round pick puts you at the head of the list of this whole group of players. Yup. Last few years we have a couple of solid finds in the 7th -- Bohanon, Reilly, Antonio Allen were all taken in the 7th. No stars, but contributors that added depth.
