Another "new era" is upon us. Can't wait until the cycle repeats again in 5-6 years. Ugh. That also could happen, Rich. But a change needed to be made. Took Woody long enough but still.....it's finally being done.

Rex wanted the players we have. I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever that he lobbied for all of them. Told Idzik, and Tannenbaum before him, "THIS guy, let me tell you what I could do with him on my defense!". Rex is a persuasive guy, too bad that he doesn't know a goddamn thing about NFL personnel. I can't wait for him to be fired, and I hope his fan club follows him to his next team.

Let's hope it's true. If it happens, I'm not sure whether I should be ashamed of Woody for not moving on from Rex's failure soon enough, for be proud that he's moving on so quickly from Idzik's failure. Hey! You should at least be happy that Woody is at least LEARNING. It's just that he's a very slow learner, that's all. The phrase "better late than never" exists for just this type of situation. lol.

Let's just say, Woodrow better bring his 'A' game to this next round of hirings - if you're going to can Idzy after 2 years the next hire better be the one to finally stick. No else will want to come here.

FWIW I think Idzy gets offered a reassignment in the organization. Especially since it is going to be hard to get an entire new staff in before FA and the draft.

The last thing we need is another Terry Bradway situation. And they haven't fired that worthless chump at all. Now we're going to have two worthless chumps? Woody better give Idzik the boot and not "re-assign him"...

Another "new era" is upon us. Can't wait until the cycle repeats again in 5-6 years. This was a particularly long cycle. Usually a 3-4 year cycle.

Of course they'll both be fired
With the rumors of Wolf and Casserly running rampant, it's pretty much a foregone conclusion.

Yeah, I just read that. If it's true ( that he was always in agreement during personnel meetings) it's consistent with what most people thought about Rex, almost too agreeable when it comes to being a team player. There are worse qualities but someone has to pay for these personnel decisions. At the same time he ruled with an iron fist and all the acquisitions were directly a result of his influence I'm thinking more like a flacid fist

I'm thinking more like a flacid fist I think you're thinking more of a sandwich, coupled in with a pic of his wife's feet and then another snack and a blitz for Clemson and then of course the Terminator being taken to the prom by Kyle Burnt Toast Wilson with Mark Sanchez the MC and smoking a joint in the back with Rob with another blitz for Clemson and Pettine screaming from the back room saying you can't do that Rex.
