As most of may know it is now legal to grow up to 4 pot plants per household in Oregon now for personal use. As a casual pot smoker I found the idea of growing pot in my back yard intriguing and,,, and hard to believe,, definitely a trip considering where I come from and the stigma pot has carried pretty much my whole life. So I figured why not? I have concerns about creating a nuisance for my neighbors, mainly that pot smells, and if my neighbors voice any sort of loud objection I will most likely pull and toss the plants. One of my goals besides being discreet is to do this with the least amount of dollars invested as possible thus the no greenhouse or indoor grow.
I have decided to create a thread to document my experiences growing the Devils Weed and plan to post bi weekly updates so as to share with you lumps
You can buy cloned pot plant starts at publicly owned Marijuana Dispensaries for $20 a pop. I however know "a guy" and went and saw him today and he gifted me 4 starts.

These are what you call hybrids, part sentiva and part indica, the smallest being a seed start, and the others were cloned from a mother plant. The largest is root bound and I plan to plant it in a hole in my back yard tomorrow after adding some amendments to the soil, the other three I put in larger pots earlier today as they were also root bound and will plant them in the back yard in a week.
So I am starting with 4 different strains that I know little about except there names and that they are "stoney as hell"
Biggest is Blue Kush, then we have Pineapple Train Wreck (the seed start), Agent Orange, and Blue Dream.
