I went almost twenty years between puffs and todays herb is nothing like 40 years ago, or even 20 years ago. With it legal now there has been many times where weed has come up in casual conservation and you find out your 80 year old aunt uses it in a cream for her arthritis, and your other 82 year old aunt had used it during her chemo, Dad agrees to rent out one of his properties as a grow house (legal and doubles the rent $). My wife, the dental assistant, tells me about all the folks declaring on their medical history that they use dope for medicinal or recreatioanal reasons. A wholesale change in the attitude towards dope to the point that my once anti dope never uses it wife is on board with growing in our back yard. And it is definately reached the craft beer craze, where people that smoke and use to have only one type of dope at a time now have 3 or 4 varieties on hand all the time. You go into a dispenserary and it is amazing the variety of dope (like over 20 choices of high grade bud all tested against mold and chemicals with the exact THC content listed on each package sold) They have infused cookies, chocolate, mints, ice cream, ice tea, etc., they have all kinds of different stuff you can vape, hash, some shit that is kind of like hash but they call it shatter or dub. And most of these dispenseraries are fairly high end nice places, located conveinetly all over the place, and the clientele all appear to be normal folks. It's been interesting observing the culture change. |

They should be flowering like crazy by now. ================================================================= I ordered some 10-30-20 fert and watered the plants with it last Wednesday, the instructions said 1 tablespoon per gallon and feed once a week, I used 3 tablespoons in 5 gallons to hopefully advoid burn. They do appear to be flowering but I don't think they are going crazy. 8/8/16 This morning. I have been working on spreading the plants and training down the taller growth.  Agent Orange Seems healthy enough, just a minor showing of what I assume is fertilizer burn.   Blue Dream A very hardy strong growing plant that I broke several of the tops out trying to train them down, I since found that if you put some tape on the broken branch and sometimes a splint you find that they recover nicely.    Blue Kush This plant always looks like it needs water or has been over watered so I have struggled with that, still it doesen't look awful. It is showing what I believe is a moderate amount of fertilizer burn.   Seedling Pinapple Train or Hashmans Obsession This is looking pretty good with just a trace of what could be fertilizer burn.   Seedling, Wonder Woman? Appears to be female and has some sign of fertilizer burn.  Seedling, Hulk? I am more then half tempted to pull this guy cause it looks so awful, I was late to get it in a bigger planter, I have broken branches training it down, it's stretched out. But it does appear to be female? A week ago I was drinking beer and watching YouTubes and they were saying that urine is good for your plants because of all the nitrogen, so I was pissing in a bucket then diluted the piss with water, plant turned funny yellow and dark green the next day.   I am concerned going forward as far as fertilizing, and I regret that I pulled at least 1/3 of all the leaves on these plants, in the future I will just pull the very bottom leaves to allow acces for watering and air flow and let them grow natural and just pull the leaves that are damaged or dead. I think this slowed their growth and was mostly unneeded. Ned has switched from eating Agent Orange to Blue Dream, shit head.. Still getting 14 hours and 20 minutes of sunlight each day. Summer continues to be mild with no rain and few days above 90. |

I wouldn't fertilize them anymore this year and in the future I'd use a slow release organic fert. Always make sure that the numbers are low when you're looking at the npk ratio. Example would be 2-6-3 or 2-3-2.....something in that range. Early in the season you could use fish emulsion which is normally 6-1-1. 10-30-20 is a chemical fertilizer and as you now know, gets used up instantly instead of being a slow release.
Good job on the training. Just let em do there thing from here on out.

Cause I was just gonna say that's a male plant and he may wanna pull it. He's in the golden area for the shit. No sense in risking it, just go get another clone or seedling. I'm sure there's no shortage of seeds and sprouts available at any time. |

The past 3 years now. They should be held as criminals. Prosecuting families for giving their extremely sick children Cannabis oil to stop their seizures and countless other things that the thousands of dollars a month worth of pharmaceuticals don't do a DAMN thing for but make it worse, make you dependant, and keep you just enough alive to keep paying that fuckin tab. THEY are the ones who should be prosecuted. And now they are trying to put some woman in prison for 36 years... For fucking Cannabis oil. Because it is the ONLY thing that helps her slowly dying child. And was a last ditch hail mary from the sounds of it. Funny thing is, when used at the right potencies and strains on the specific ailments, many people actually THRIVE and reverse their situations. I know someone who should have been dead 10 years ago and cannabis has completely changed that. I actually was never a believer in the medicinal stuff til I saw it first hand. and still see it to this day. Are any (all) of these plants perennials or annuals? Can they be propagated? Can you propagate by spocing/grafting? Are hybrid seeds plantable and are they as effective (potent) as the parent stock? What does the market for seeds and young plants look like out there? Sorry for so many questions but I am fascinated by your thread. (I like to grow things)
