What would happen if you harvested now? Buds just not quite as good as they would have been otherwise,or would the pot be completely useless? I always hear check it with a magnifying glass and harvest when trichones are 50% milky, blah, blah. Well what if you messed it up and harvested too early, or too late?

I was tempted to cut everything and call it a game Jay, the dope would no doubt be okay or at least some of it would. But I went and saw a buddy who I trust and is good at this and he echos Rob and says if I can hold out ten more days I will nearly double my yield and the potency. Rained like a bitch all day last Saturday, partly cloudy for the rest of the week with more rain coming this weekend. Combine that with a heavy dew as we have this time of year. and after some thought I spent another hundred on plastic and lumber and fabbed up a green house, kinda.  It does cover the plants, so we shall see. I hope we don't have much wind before I can get time to brace it and tie it down a bit. |

You're going to have a huge amount of pot. Should last you a very long time. Do you have a garage or some other place to cure it?

Do you have a garage or some other place to cure it? =================================== Yes, I live in a regular house with a regular double car garage which I really don't want to use, I also have a couple of small sheds that I hope will work for the drying, I never have dried and cured and that seems to be a whole thing onto it's self, so we shall see how that goes. As far as huge goes, that's a relative perspective. But I agree I will have more then I need regardless, it could yield as much as a pound and a half? But that is an uneducated guess and I can still fuck this all up. I have a few friends that I will make happy and ther is also a program where I can donate to the sick to get rid of some excess. If I can get 8 ounces of quality out of this I will be a happy camper. |

You've come this far so please don't use the sheds for the curing process. What you want is an environment that is stable, regardless of the relative humidity. An indoor space would be ideal but I realize how hard that can be....at the very least use your garage. If you can take those plants to their full potential you're looking at well over a pound. I wouldn't be surprised if the Blue Dream yields between 6-8 oz. on it's own. If you need any help on the trim and curing just let me know. I just helped a trim about 2 months ago and while the job itself sucks, you'll have enough resin on your hands for that old time hash taste. |

Okay, I WENT ON A 5 DAY VACATION! And the plastic came down a bit but did not harm the plants, the plastic seems to have done it's job for the most part.
I gave away both of the seedling/potted plants lil over 2 weeks ago cause I want to remain within the legal limit of 4 mature plants, they have been harvested and the reports are glowing although they only totaled an ounce and a half between the two plants.
I am using one of my sheds (8'x12')to dry and process the dope, came across a dehumidifier on the cheap ($25)and also put a little space heater in there, it's working out good.
The buds have come a long way in the last two weeks, cut down most of Blue Kush cause I saw some mold starting to develop on a few buds.
Pineapple looks ready, Blue Dream looks close if not ready, and Agent Orange I think needs more time.
I've started to harvest some of the plants a week ago cause I wanted to see the difference in the high from mostly clear trichones and more amber trichone weed.
Having trouble uploading the pictures from my phone.
