Cuz your too high.. .. Happy Birthday. ============================================= Nope, just I'm a bit of 32green when it comes to the tech. Agent Orange Blue Kush Pinapple Train Wreck, This is what tore me up last night. Blue Dream Great job on the grow. Be careful on the cure because just when you think you have it right, THEY WILL take on moisture when you jar them. Check your jars every single day and burp/air out for an hour daily until you get them right. I can't stress that enough because you still have the chance of ruining the final product with mold. Are you monitoring the overall weight? I'll take a guess that when all is said and done you'll have between 1lb.-1.4 lbs.

Edit to add, from the pictures the only one that looks somewhat ready is the Blue Kush but it's hard to tell from those photos. Let those hairs die back a bit if at all possible.
Once you rotate those buds in the jar you will get that final cure you are looking for. The aroma will come to the forefront and you'll be good to go and it will make the smoke that much smoother and enjoyable. I'm guessing what you have now smells earthy and somewhat nasty so you are losing that flavor....maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt it that soon in the process.
It's been a week for me without but I have some nice herb lined up tomorrow. Like Bart Scott says..."Can't wait". Got some Jack Herer and Ghost Train Haze lined up and I love those sativa dominants.

This is my pickdown/drying/processing shed, I put a board over the window on the inside to help keep it dark. In some ways it has worked out most excellent and in other ways it has been marginal at best. Controlling the temperature (10 degree swings from 57 to 68) and the humidity (swings from 60rh to 45rh)has been challenging, also I started out with not enough ventilation which oddly enough was not a problem for the weed but played hell with my lungs, put a box fan up in one of the gable vents and that cured the lung issue. Finally had to harvest most all of it except for the Agent Orange because of the mold, Mold as it turns out loves the dense mature buds a lot. On last Thursday Pineapple was mold free, Friday morning it had Mold on half the Kolas. Maybe if they were in planters I could of not watered them and maybe the mold would not been a problem? Because of some of the lung issues I had in the shed, I picked most of it all down under the plastic, no pictures of the picked plants but it worked out surprisingly well picking everything down live, I did leave things a bit shaggier then I would of liked in terms of my pick down but I had so much fucking shit to pick down I had to do it that way in order to keep up, Twas also a good way of going over every plant and bud to pick out the mold before it made it into the shed. It has rained the last two and a half weeks but it was nice working under the cover listening to the rain. Plants are still in the ground with some of the small stuff still on them, it's an experiment to see if I can get them to finish more? Mold will probably get them as I also had to pull the plastic cause a storm is a coming with winds 50mph plus. Shit hanging up drying. Blue Dream Pineapple Train Wreck Agent Orange No pictures of Blue Kush hanging, it was first to finish so and mold up, so It had already been processed by this time. Some of the early harvest. Waiting for the drying to finish and for the cure to get further along and then I will post some pictures of some the best buds. Haven't smoked that much of it, haven't tried the Blue Dream, or Agent Orange, early Pineapple is good and Blue Kush is Okay. Some of the PTW is gorgeous, pity I lost 30 % of the big Kolas, AO also looks great nice and goopy, Blue Dream produced over a pound and some of the biggest buds, still not fully cured so I am sure to lose some more weight but so far of the stuff that has made it into the jars I have 20.5 oz of Blue Dream, and 5.3 oz of Blue Kush, and another 4oz of some early stuff I picked, have to wait on weighing the Pineapple and AO till there ready for the jars. Between the stuff I had been smoking all summer and the stuff my neighbor gave me I now have 10 different strains of reasonably good to killer weed to smoke through. I started out on this looking to show some of the growers I know that what they do is not that tough or expensive, I'm ending up with a hole new appreciation for the work and skill they put into it, it's an art. So much more involved then I realized and I put in 60 hours into all this in the last 6 days, plus my regular gig. Picking down sucks.

Stupid question: Aren't you afraid of someone just coming by in the night and ripping that shit out?
Great job btw.

Wow. Beautiful job. Im sure all the work you put in is going to make smoking it just that much more pleasurable. I think if I ever started smoking again I would grow my own. You have inspired me.

Great job btw. ========================================================= I understood that some one might try to pilfer the crop, but never lost sleep over it, and I certainly wouldn't of confronted a thief with a gun if I didn't have too, I have a base ball bat for that. I know of three other back yard grows within a 6 house radius of my house, I wondered what a kid with a drone could see if he was looking to snag some ones grow, or even if some one in the hood had a male that pollinated every one else plants. Any way, it was a small investment truly money wise, if people are going to steal your shit,, waht you going to do.

Seems like a shitload of work. And they say smoking weed makes you lazy. ================================================================ Honestly it was fun gardening and all till I had to put up the god awful looking plastic cover, felt bad about that cause it shouted "Hey neighbor) and up to that point it had been rather a unnoticed grow. The cutting down of the branches and hanging them to dry was nothing, and the time to trim the buds off the stem goes quick, but Oh My God the picking down and manicuring the buds was mind numbing awful, I suck at that type of dexterity, took me for ever. Still have a bunch more to do, just going to power through it all this week end.

You have inspired me. ==================================================== I would suggest a smaller grow then what I have done. If I do this again I am thinking about using planters instead of putting them in the ground and try to keep them smaller, more like a Banzi plant. 4 plants that put out 1 to 2 ounces each, would be plenty for most.

I would only do one plant and have it indoors. Much easier situation to control for a neophyte.

With 4 grows in a 6 foot radius how was the smell in your neighborhood? ====================================== Nothing to speak of till about 4 weeks ago, last week it was very strong, today I smell nothing and that is no doubt due to most all of the plants are in by now and it's raining hard. The drying process is also oderrific, there is quite the aroma being exhausted from the shed.
