Good. Fuck radical Islam. I wouldn't trust the fucking mooslims in the Middle East with democracy. Those dumb fucks would elect Osama bin laden if he wasn't a rotting corpse right now.

Turk, please check in with us when you get a chance.
I am hearing they shut down social media and possibly the internet over there.
Beginning to think the Mayans were just four years off.

Reading that the military is secular and anti-fundamentalist, while the government are fundamentalist muslims. So this could be a good thing, no?

Reading that the military is secular and anti-fundamentalist, while the government are fundamentalist muslims. So this could be a good thing, no? Yes, same as happened in Egypt a couple of years ago. You can't trust these backward dumb fucks with democracy. They need a dictator to keep their ignorant asses in line.

This would be a very good thing if it succeeds. Since turkey became secular in the 1920s, the military has ensured that a religious govt would never come to power and the state would stay secular.
The problem is, Edrogen has put in a lot of his guys in the military AND won the elections with the religious Turks supporting him. So this could lead to civil war if it fails... Which would be an utter disaster.
If it succeeds then watch out Isis

Edrogen is on FaceTime telling the Turkish people to resist the coup.
This could get ugly.
All flights leaving the country cancelled.

Turkish jets shot down a military helicopter over the airports. Army killing police in Ankara. Note that Ankara supports the Islamists and president while Istanbul is more secular.
