I'm all for drilling for oil on federal lands but fracking scares me. I'm glad Cuomo banned it in upstate NY. |

Plus, you are in fact creating cracks and fracture lines beneath the earth. The water you're pumping at high pressure will fill the cracks even if they’re going up. Not saying I’m right, this is JMO. 2nd question: Sand filters are to capture sediments/solids, not chemicals. And if you read about fracking there are no "mystery chemicals". The process IS about injecting water with tons of chemicals. |
