Well frankly, with or without stats, everything on this message board goes nowhere. Even our beloved NY Jets.

thanks to canada, eh? and the frackers. obozo had nothing to do with this. and, by the way, hillarity is on record saying she's going to shut down fracking. want to see oil back to 100? vote hillarity. all those saudi "donations" to the clinton foundation have to be worth something.

(BTW, if you look at the technology used for fracking...its seems like one of the worst idea ever.)

Wait a minute - you just said big companies are killing us via chemicals, and you have no proof? No link? Just a conspiracy theory?? Move aside FF2 - you've been dethroned. I know how this rodeo works:. I post links and stats, then you post links and stats, everyone calls either idiots..it goes nowhere. There's a reason why some countries have banned fracking (like France). I hope soon we'll find a way to extract shale gas in a cleaner way. Fracking was quick and dirty way. so you're rebelling agiainst the Innernetz? really? and not be a dick, but..... saying it must be wrong because France banned it? yikes - shaky ground dude

Lets put aside tree hugging ideas like the fact your using ginormous amounts of water to do it and producing tons of backflow that needs to be treated...why not So you're injecting at high pressure tons of water with hundreds of chemicals into the earth. Do you find the idea that all the shit your pumping into the earth could find its way to the aquifer/phreatic zone a possibility? raminskibba.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/ucs-fracking-report-fig1.png

The water that does just evaporates and goes into the atmosphere. www.alternet.org/environment/8-dangerous-side-effects-fracking-industry-doesnt-want-you-hear-about

^Interesting.
FTR I'm not against fossil fuels or shale gas extraction. I think the method used to extract it sucks.

I'm all for drilling for oil on federal lands but fracking scares me. I'm glad Cuomo banned it in upstate NY.

Plus, you are in fact creating cracks and fracture lines beneath the earth. The water you're pumping at high pressure will fill the cracks even if they’re going up. Not saying I’m right, this is JMO. 2nd question: Sand filters are to capture sediments/solids, not chemicals. And if you read about fracking there are no "mystery chemicals". The process IS about injecting water with tons of chemicals.
