Some great match ups next week, 6 top ten teams all matching up against up against each other. Clemson/Louisville, Michigan/Wisconsin and Stanford/Washington.
I'm going to fly down to the Clemson game and watch that track meet. Watson better play A LOT better than he has for CU to have any chance in this game. I'm not liking CU's chances though, unless they elevate their play on offense I still see a 20 point loss coming. Hope I'm wrong.

Huskies putting a beat down on Stanford early. Not often you see Stanford get bullied like this.
This Budda Baker kid from Washington looks good at safety.

Scouting the Scouts -- per NFL.com, Jets will have scouts at Louisville v Clemson and Tennessee v Georgia: www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000711467/article/bears-among-nfl-clubs-scouting-deshaun-watson-vs-louisvilleLouisville at Clemson 8 clubs attending: Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers. Details: Saturday, Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. ET (ABC) Three top players: Louisville (QB Lamar Jackson, DB Josh Harvey-Clemons, DE Devonte Fields); Clemson (QB Deshaun Watson, WR Mike Williams, CB Cordrea Tankersley). Matchup to watch: Clemson QB Deshaun Watson vs. Louisville DE Devonte Fields. With just two tackles for loss in four games, Fields hasn't made as many big plays as NFL scouts would have expected from a top-tier pass rusher. Saturday is a chance for Fields to serve notice on a big stage that he can be more disruptive. The opportunity should be there; Clemson's pass protection allowed nine QB hurries against Auburn. The challenge for Fields and any pass rusher in getting to Watson isn't just that he's athletic enough to break out of the pocket and outrun them for first downs. It's also that he's got the awareness to avoid a sack with a subtle step or two, and still make a good throw from the pocket. That's a big reason Watson has been sacked just three times in four games.
Tennessee at Georgia 11 clubs attending: Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles Rams, Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, San Diego Chargers, Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts. Details: Saturday, Oct. 1 at 3:30 p.m. ET (CBS) Three top players: Tennessee (RB Jalen Hurd, DE Derek Barnett, LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin); Georgia (RB Nick Chubb, S Dominick Sanders, RB Sony Michel). Matchup to watch: Tennessee LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin vs. Georgia RB Sony Michel. With Chubb's status for the game looking questionable at best, it's looking more and more like Michel's chance to prove why he's one of college football's most gifted backups; more of a star-in-waiting than a second-teamer. Unlike the more powerful Chubb, Michel's game is more about speed and elusiveness. Reeves-Maybin is one of Tennessee's best open-field tacklers and, if healthy, could play a key role in containing Michel on the perimeter. Keep an eye on Reeves-Maybin's ability to wrap and finish tackles with a shoulder injury that forced him out of last week's game against Florida.

Sounds great. Just waiting to hear from my friend to let me know if he can make it. I will let you know. If so, that will be 3 road trips for me this year: KC, Arizona and Miami. My tailgate group wants to go to AZ too. I'm just not sure if I'll have the time, but I'll definitely let you know when it gets closer. Did you ever decide on AZ? You planning to be out there?

Hope Chubb plays in scout-attended game like this. The vols offensive line and play calling has been a little bipolar IMO. It's holding Hurd back a bit.. Boy o boy, can't wait for tonight.

Pretty sure Chubb is out today. UGA O-line is so bad that he can't get much done anyway. And Jacob Eason seems to have the accuracy of Hack. I figured this year's team was a year away from contending in SEC, but they are just bad. NOt sure how anyone who has actually watched them play can have them ranked 25. I expect a beatdown from the Vols today.

Did you ever decide on AZ? You planning to be out there? A couple of my friends are definitely going, but I don't think I am. I'm still finishing up some work up here and haven't moved to FL yet.

Awesome finish with the NC FSU game. NC kicker wins it on final play with 53 yarder, and then runs around the stadium doing the tomahawk chop. Love it. Suck it, semenoles.

TD with 10 seconds left to take the lead and then to lose it on bad kickoff coverage and a hail mary. Going to be a long season in Athens (and E Rutherford too I think).

I had hard time understanding why ppl thought Watson was top shelf NFL QB material last year... I understand even less this year.
Unsurprisingly some of the national draft lustre has worn off.

This QB class is abysmal, but I'd love for us to take Kaaya in the 2nd round. He has all the tools, and is pretty accurate. Sadly we took Hack so I doubt we take another QB this year. We're going to sign another stop gap next year.

You almost forget about a guy like Gallman with all the discussion of Fournette, McCaffrey, Cook, Chubb and Perine among others.

It's the deepest I've ever seen. Elijah Hood will be competing with Gallman for 5th RB taken overall which is crazy. This draft is also pretty deep in pass rushers, and CBs aren't bad either.

All positions of need for us next year. Sad truth is, aside from DL, just about every position is a position of need for us either due to lack of talent in some spots or aging stars in others.
