It's the deepest I've ever seen. Elijah Hood will be competing with Gallman for 5th RB taken overall which is crazy. This draft is also pretty deep in pass rushers, and CBs aren't bad either. All positions of need for us next year. Sad truth is, aside from DL, just about every position is a position of need for us either due to lack of talent in some spots or aging stars in others. I couldn't agree more. Idzik whiffing two years straight really hurt us. McCaggnan was put in a difficult spot and started out strong, but it doesn't look like his drafting is that much better. We now have to waste so much money on depth/avg starters because we don't hit on our picks. It's killing us.

Last Tanny draft plus the two Idzik drafts left Macc in a pretty bad spot -- those drafts should form the core of the young, inexpensive players on the roster. Out of 27 draftees from 2012-14 the only solid players from those drafts are Enunwa, Sheldon, Pryor & Winters. And Pryor seems to have taken a step back so far this season. Add to that the $20MM in dead cap and IR/PUP $$ and Macc's options are limited for this season. Macc also did not help himself with some of the contracts he gave out last offseason. In fairness, I think Macc has done a pretty good job in adding depth to the bottom of the roster, but we still lack young playmakers on either side of the ball (except DL). Hopefully a couple of the young WRs will pan out, but it is way too early to count on any of them yet. Hoping to see something out of Robby Anderson tomorrow.

I still believe in Macc, but some of the shine is wearing off. I have hope for him though. He's a "rookie" GM that was put in a difficult situation like you said. The good new is we're definitely a team that can take BPA unless it's a D-Lineman that can't play OLB. We need players at every position. Also we finally have a game. If Louisville scores a TD here watch out.

Now, it may finally turn into the shootout we expected.

On the other hand, this RB class is outstanding. You almost forget about a guy like Gallman with all the discussion of Fournette, McCaffrey, Cook, Chubb and Perine among others. It's the deepest I've ever seen. Elijah Hood will be competing with Gallman for 5th RB taken overall which is crazy. This draft is also pretty deep in pass rushers, and CBs aren't bad either. This is by far the best RB and TE classes I've ever seen since I started really following the draft RB: Cook Fournette Chubb McCaffrey Hurd Hunt Gallman All those guys could easily be early round backs in any other draft class. And that's not even counting the likes of: Connor Hood Perine X. Johnson Add to that Howard Sprinkle Butt Ingram Hodges Garrett God damn if Macc doesn't dip into these cookie jars

Texas loss today, but he was 17 - 148 - 2 TDs, with a long of 62. That's impressive for a 250lb back and I not a fan BIG backs.

Aside from the initial spending spree in march of 2015, I mostly like what Macc's in FA, trades and find talent later In the draft.... but for me to buy in 100% I need to see better management of our QB situation and use of the our early picks period. He deserves to own the blame for decision making there. Hopefully he continues to improve and learn from those shortcomings

Huge turnover. It looked like Clemson was about to put the fire out, but Louisville is storming back. It's about time!

Jackson finally read the option right in the red zone.

Not so fast, my friend. Big return got them right back in it. If they can run a few plays without a turnover.
