Jinxed it again. God damn those Hurricanes suck and won't win the Championship this year. Fuck the Hurricanes, say something about the Jets. The Jets are immune to jinxes. We all know when we're fucked. They're unjinxable! Fitz will throw at least two picks tomorrow. Seattle will score one defensive TD. Our defense will do great despite giving up easy yards to the TE. It's the same shit every time.

Only thing you forgot is our secondary will bust a coverage leading to a TD. Seems like every time we blow a coverage it leads to 6. TD Clemson!!!

Actually my wife had suggested before the season started that I should burn all my old Jets stuff that led to nothing but misery and heartache. I should have listened to her - she might have been on to something. Maybe next season, instead of Hampurcon, we all get together in preseason and burn our old Jet stuff. Send the bad memories, bad luck, jinxes and heartache up in smoke to welcome in a new era of Jet football.

I'm going for the triple jinx with an anti jinx twist. Clemson left too much time on the clock. Stopping Jackson on four downs will be tough. I bet they drive like Fitz did and Jackson fucks it up in the red zone because he wants to be the hero and takes the ball himself every time.

When I was 14 I worked my first summer job and used all my money to buy a retro Joe Namath jersey signed by the entire Super Bowl III team. It was the best and worst investment I've ever made. Not sure I can burn that, but I'll burn my Coples jersey haha.

Wow. How does Quick not dive for the first down. He gladly spins out of bounds.

Looked like Quick could have picked up the first had he cut inside instead of outside. Plenty of room back inside.
Clemson will survive. That one was fun.

Dabo Swinney sounds like he's already drunk. I hope these two teams play again.

Even tho GT wasn't ranked I think it was a big win. We usually lose these types of games. GT is a borderline top 25 team and we're like a 18-25 team. If we can beat FSU next week I'll really start getting excited.

Lamar Jackson still stole the show from playmaker standpoint. Guy is legit.

I couldn't agree more. Idzik whiffing two years straight really hurt us. McCaggnan was put in a difficult spot and started out strong, but it doesn't look like his drafting is that much better. We now have to waste so much money on depth/avg starters because we don't hit on our picks. It's killing us. Last Tanny draft plus the two Idzik drafts left Macc in a pretty bad spot -- those drafts should form the core of the young, inexpensive players on the roster. Out of 27 draftees from 2012-14 the only solid players from those drafts are Enunwa, Sheldon, Pryor & Winters. And Pryor seems to have taken a step back so far this season. Add to that the $20MM in dead cap and IR/PUP $$ and Macc's options are limited for this season. Macc also did not help himself with some of the contracts he gave out last offseason. In fairness, I think Macc has done a pretty good job in adding depth to the bottom of the roster, but we still lack young playmakers on either side of the ball (except DL). Hopefully a couple of the young WRs will pan out, but it is way too early to count on any of them yet. Hoping to see something out of Robby Anderson tomorrow. I think heading into next offseason, we are in better shape than most are expecting: overthecap.com/calculator/new-york-jets/. I don't see Revis, Harris or Sheldon coming back next year, which will allow the team to have more than 30 million in cap space. We will probably take a run at someone like Glennon to compete at QB with Petty and Hackenberg.

Well CU played at a little higher level than they had been, and a dominant 2nd quarter won them the game. Watson has regressed a bit from last year and isn't throwing the ball anywhere close to how he did last year. He misses way too many "easy" throws and uncharacteristicly has under thrown a bunch of deep balls. People projecting him to be this high rated NFL QB prospect are only looking at his numbers and not his tape.
For as much attention as the WRs get at Clemson, they are producing some talented D-linemen there as well. Every year I think the defense will take a step back and they keep reloading the front 7. I never would have though it at the time of the hire, but Venables has been tremendous for this program.
Anyway, with FSU deciding to not field a defense this year, CU has everything in front of them to get back to the Playoff.
