OK. I will take back everything I said about Cook seeming a step slow early in the season. He looks to be back on top of his game. Great patience, vision and explosion to get the corner on that TD run. And, he does it again!!!

He has obviously lost weight and gained speed at this point compared to the opener and looks like the Cook of last year. He's impressive.

Best player on the field tonight and there is not a close 2nd.

I feel like if you gave Cook the ball 25-28 times a game (at the NFL level) you'd almost never lose. Smooth/explosive - hard combo to find. He's a natural. The Antonio Brown of running backs. Agreed. Can't find a safer top 10 pick.

Great patience, vision and explosion to get the corner on that TD run. I think that had more to do with the FSU O-line early in the year. They were a very in-experienced group coming into this year and have played better as the season has gone on. You also had a freshman QB making his first starts, defenses were keying Cook and making the QB beat them.

They are going to get Francois killed one of these days. Don't think I can remember seeing a college QB getting so badly beaten up from week to week, but the kid shows a lot of toughness. You guys were killing him last night. Congrats on the win, you are in great shape heading down the stretch.

It's so weird/cool that these were always the games Clemson would find a way to lose and now they are the games they always find a way to win.
I love Cook, Mike Wiliams isn't quite in the same league as other recent stud Clemson WR's imo.
Are there any legit QB prospects in this draft? No one has really stood out to me, but you guys know way more, so enlighten me.

No one has really stood out to me, but you guys know way more, so enlighten me. Williams is a different type of receiver than Hopkins and Watkins were. He is more of the pro-typical "#1" NFL outside receiver. He is a better prospect than Bryant was coming out of CU, and like Bryant will be a better pro than college receiver. One of of my biggest criticisms of Clemson's offense has been that they do not use their outside receivers enough down the field. Williams and Cain are seldom on the field at the same time and if they both are it gives them such a huge advantage against teams secondaries. Another issue is that Watson simply hasn't been as good as he was last year. He has missed a ton of throws this season and made some really questionable decisions. Seeing him being mentioned as some sort of top 3 pick next year is comical IMO.

I remember all of the announcers and pre-game shows this past weekend that had Washington in there. There is still plenty of time for things to shake out but they need to go to 8-10 teams with a few of them getting a bye.....4 teams is not enough.

I doubt A&M has much of a chance of being in the Final 4 at the end of the season, since they are not likely to even get to the SEC title game, but it seems a bit off that they would be ranked ahead of an unbeaten Washington. I agree on the 8 - 10 teams. 8 would be ideal. Automatic bids to major conference champions and one or two at large bids.

The rankings are weird. Im kind of forced to root for Penn State now since my sister goes there, but 12 seems absurdly high for them.
