Paradis needs to watch the UMass TE that transferred from Penn St. Adam Breneman is 6'4 and 250. Right now he has 70 catches, 808 yards, and 8 TDs. Tannenbaum already has his eye on him... just like big Vlad, and Cruz. he chose Vlad. I don't understand how he could scout that fat fucking troll so much and not realize Cruz had talent. Cruz went undrafted. You'd think he'd take a flyer on him or make him a priority.

The 2016 Jets are what happens when you draft like shit for about 7 or 8 straight years.

Tanny was lightning in a bottle. He gave out draft picks like they were candy, but he really hit on Brick, Mangold, Revis, and Harris. That bought him some time. Also Powell, Keller, and Lowery weren't bad. I'd gladly take him over Idzik and maybe Maccagnan depending on his next draft. At least Tanny had balls.

He told Victor that he'd have a place on the Jets even if they didn't draft him. After the draft Tanny bid low for Victor thinking he'd take the first offer from the Jets, especially after their talk. The two highest bidders were the Cowshits and the vaGiants. He chose the vaGiants. But we got Vlad!

IMO, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012 drafts were as bad as Idzik. 2011 (Mo, Kerley, Powell was solid) and he hit on his 06, 07 drafts. We have had one good draft since 2007.

Too many GMs are scared and will settle for mediocrity, because it's safe.

Most of those years coincide with Rex coming here. Rex had a ton of control come draft day....it was well documented. Look no further than Quinton Coples.

Came close. 09 & 10 were a lot of fun. Last time it was fun to be a Jet fan was 2010.

He wasn't the best, but he was aggressive and built the team his coach wanted. He trusted them and went after the players they wanted and made sure he got them. Also if you're going to judge his drafts you also have to add Kris Jenkins, Braylon Edwards, and Santonio Holmes. He got them for pennies on the dollar. Feeding into Rex was his downfall.

Rex, Mangini, and Woody pointed him in a direction and he did it. It was time for him to go, but he rarely if ever got ripped off.

It is what happens when you mortgage your future for a Super Bowl run. You had better get there, because it is going to get ugly when the older guys retire and you have no young depth to develop.

How sad is that?

It is what happens when you mortgage your future for a Super Bowl run. Right now we're mortgaging our future for a four win season. Look at all of the dead money Mac is pushing into next year along with the worst extensions(renegotiations). All of that for Ryan Fitzpatrick.
