Weight said he wasn't changing the system, just tweaking it. Seemed to think the team is playing better and ready for the playoff push now that other teams have come back down to earth.
My prediction - a five game bump in overall team effort, then back down to mid to lousy play.

They looked good. Agressive on the forecheck. JT has really turned around his slow start. 2 straight shutouts for Geiss. 6 points out of the last WC spot. Can the season be salvaged???

Weight for coach of the year. LOL It was nice to see them shoot the puck. Gotta get ALOT better on the PP I hear ya -- but, I thought they generated some decent pressure on the power play. Struggled to finish, and Lehtonen made some great saves. Thought this was a strong effort all around. |
