That was my initial reactions too, but I am not sure this one is quite that simple. Berube has barely played in a month and you want to make sure he is sharp the rest of the way. They have a back to back this weekend with Philly on Sunday, so you give the start to Berube against the Western Conference team and let Greiss go tomorrow night against the Division rival. |

It's amazing when a know nothing like myself has been lobbying forever to put Lee on the first line because he compliments JT's game.

Didn't get to see the game. Sounded like they got outplayed in the first two, but still managed a lead? Berube played great early on and the Kings goalie gave up the ultimate softy on Chimeras goal. |

It's amazing when a know nothing like myself has been lobbying forever to put Lee on the first line because he compliments JT's game. Lee is like JTs Moulson. Goes to the dirty areas of the ice. |

Really like the way they bounced back after giving up the two early goals in the 3rd -- although the giving up of 3rd period leads has to stop sometime, but still a nice response. Despite the 3 straight wins, we are still last in the East (but just 5 out of the wild card).
Nikolai Kulemin has really seemed to elevate his game, doing a lot of the dirty work along the boards, playing well in his own end. Doing the kind of stuff that doesn't show up in the box score, but I think he is playing very well over the past week or two.

Blown 2 goal lead. 2 straight blown 3rd period leads. Incompetent in OT. If Tavares and Lee don't score we don't win. Roster has two legit top 6 forwards and a bunch of 3rd and 4th line guys. This is not so much about coaching as it is about roster construction, yet Garth is still here. If anything, I am pissed at myself. After they fired Cappy and won 3 in a row, I started to care again. Not going to fall into that trap again this season. |
