Well let's put the last shovel of dirt on this season
Penguins win the cup again. Nashville got hosed a few goals in the series. Snow still heading the Isles.
I guess we can hope for knocking out the Penguins 3-peat, like we did in '93.

Garth strikes again. Supposedly has a deal in place with Vegas to give them our 1 to stay away from certain players -- likely Nelson, Strome and DeHaan.

My prediction was Tavaras, Lee, Ladd, Boychuk, Leddy, Hamonic, Pulock, DeHaan, and Griess.
Didnt expect to see Pelech instead of DeHaan.
Rumor has it they are talking about trading a first rounder so that LV doesnt pick certain players?

According to Staple we will be sending a first round pick and Grabovski to Vegas in exchange Vegas will select a player we designate in the expansion draft -- twitter rumors suggest it will be Kulemin. If it is true, we are trading a first round pick to protect certain guys and clear $9MM in cap space between the two. Will have to see how Garth uses the space. |

Now, knowing Garths relationship with McPhee, do we dare suggest the three headed goalie mess was part of the "long game" to help out both the Isles and LV? Or am I giving him too much credit?
To me, thats a pretty good deal. Still have Griess and Halak, clear cap space, keep all our F and D assets. LV now has Fleury and Berube in the net, and another 1st rounder.
